  • Two weeks of Paradise

"We returned to our favorite condo and it was as great as our previous visits. We enjoy the lanai for our meals and the spectacular views. Access to the poos is relaxing after a day of snorkelling, jet ski tours and visiting other sights. The location is perfect for the activities we enjoy on the north side of the island. The addition of the Ferry from Kaibo to Camana Bay is fun. We took the ferry on Wednesday to visit the Farmers Market. We are anxious to return next year. It is a place for relaxation, quiet and fun."

  • one of the very best vacations we've ever had!

"Our family of 5 (two adults and 3 very finicky teenagers!) stayed a week at Coconut Bay Condos. We were in Unit 101. The place was simply beautiful! Duncan, the owner, was absolutely wonderful to work with. The condo was perfect and exceeded our expectations! Great working kitchen where we cooked and ate each day before heading out for our daily activities, great dining room for a leisurely game of cards to wind down the day, and full living room with satellite TV for late nights. The bedrooms were perfectly appointed and the washer/dryer on the second floor was a definite plus! The third floor master bedroom was HUGE! We are now spoiled and will never stay in a hotel again. The location of the condo is perfect for those who want to snorkel/dive, with the reef right in your backyard. There is a small "beach" to just relax and get some sun. The two pools on property were clean and great way to end the day after returning home. Located down the block from the Turtle Farm, Dolphin Cove Swim and about a mile walk to Hell, where my kids sent novelty postcards to all their friends back in the States. There's a great outdoor restaurant next door called Makabuka, where we enjoyed a drink and some fresh conch every evening. There is also a fancier restaurant in front of Makabuka called the Cracked Conch, which is more formal. (I think they are the same owners). Great way to end the day. There is a Dive company in the complex, and they will arrange a private boat for snorkeling, diving, fishing, etc. Shaggy and Dominic were simply the best! Dominic took us to his "private" snorkeling spot near Rum Point and it was truly amazing. You can catch a public bus right in front of the condo complex and for a few extra $$, the driver will take you door to door. It is a safe and affordable way to get around the island, but be prepared as there's really no set bus schedule and they are sporadic. However, the bus drivers could not be more pleasant or welcoming. The complex is about a 10 minute ride to Seven Mile Beach and a 5 minute ride to Fosters, a huge supermarket. Simply put, this was quite possibly our best family vacation ever, and we have traveled quite extensively. I don't know what could have made it better and I want to thank Duncan, Shaggy and Dominic for their help in making this vacation so awesome!!!!"

  • Perfect Paradise for our Romantic Getaway

"We chose Grand Cayman as our destination to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and renew our vows. Doug was easy to work with in making the arrangements. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Jennifer who was eager to give us lots of helpful information to make our use of the property and stay on the island most enjoyable. Everything was just as represented when we booked. The condo was very clean and perfectly positioned for easy access to the Grape Tree private beach and property pool. Being only yards away from snorkeling and with the beautiful sunrises and romantic sunsets complemented by soothing waves we absolutely loved this little cottage on the doorstep of paradise. We moved our vow ceremony to the Grape Tree Beach as we realized it was perfect for us. Enjoyed the natural life of the property with its iguanas, crabs and several bird species. There are two easily accessible grocery stores to choose from. Kirk's Market is within walking distance. Foster's is minutes away by Public Bus but has more selection and better economic value. Of the several restaurants nearby we really enjoyed The Wharf for fine dining and Coconut Joe's for casual dining. Though there was some nightlife I wouldn't expect a strong party scene if this is what you are looking for. Parasailing, jet ski riding, scuba diving and lounging on the beach are all readily available along Seven Mile Beach. We found very good shopping in George Town. Often we chose to walk with backpacks so that we could soak in the island and interact with the locals. We found the people be very friendly and helpful. We would certainly recommend staying at Doug's place. In fact, we can't wait to plan our next visit."

  • First trip to Grand Cayman

"After spending 5 glorious nights in DPC #14, we are now hooked on Grand Cayman and 7 Mile Beach! We enjoyed the casual and comfortable feeling of the island. The condo was beautifully decorated, super clean and had everything you could ever need. We especially enjoyed all the wall art. It felt more like home than a hotel room ever could. The condo staff was always available, very friendly and helpful. Ollie was there to guide us in planning our stingray adventure. One of the most memorable experiences was the snorkeling right off the beach at the condo - it rivaled all the other snorkeling locations we went to on the island. The sunsets and the color of the water were stunning. Thank you for opening our eyes to a new vacation spot. We hope to return with our 3 girls some day. Bob and Sue"
