  • Outstanding Villa. Casa de Campos is beautiful

"Myself and 6 friends have just returned from an amazing stay at #28 Los Mangos, Casa De Campo. The villa is spacious, clean and located in a very convenient section of the complex. Whether we were relaxing in the great room where the entire wall of glass doors opened up to the pool area or in the detached lanai poolside, the island breeze and golf course views were outstanding. The chef was first class. Not only did we enjoy restaurant quality breakfasts and dinners but within minutes of walking in the door after 9 hours fishing she presented us with chips, salsa, a meat and cheese platter and four ice cold El Presidente's. When we were not fishing we took time to explore Casa de Campo by golf cart. Fun times were had hanging down at the marina enjoying the restaurants and shopping as well as taking time to stroll through the Italian Village; Altos de Chevon. I hope to have the pleasure of renting from Elizabeth again in the future."

  • Fabulous Vacation Villa!

"We just got back from a fabulous 6 days in Casa de Campo staying at this exceptional, beautiful villa. We were a group of four couples so it was a perfect fit staying in the lovely four bedrooms on the main floor (we used the bedroom on the lower level for the masseuse from the club to give massages). Keeping the bedrooms cool with ac and the rest of the house open air was perfect even on warm days. The furnishings and decor are perfectly appointed with a local flare with many seating areas to relax and chat. Upon our arrival, the staff welcomed us and made sure we had all that we needed throughout our stay. Victor was excellent as "butler" - from serving meals and drinks to checking on our golf carts and running to the marina to get extra ice. We ate breakfast very day and a few dinners on the outdoor patio which was heaven! The pool and hot tub were perfect, the grounds impeccable and there were even fresh flowers in our rooms. The view of the ocean tops it all off. The location is perfect and not far by golf cart to Altos de Chavon, the Marina or the beach. Isabel, the owner, was great to work with and had quick email responses before, during and after our trip. She advised us on groceries and food to request which was very helpful. The cook does her best when given specific requests for meals. Our last night we had an amazing dinner in the dining room with an entire salted fish, filet, salad and potatoes and flan for dessert that was truly gourmet. Thank you so much Isabel and the wonderful staff for an excellent vacation spot!"

  • Amazing and exactly as desrcibed

"I was one of three ladies who had the good fortune of renting this location for 2 weeks. Everything listed in the description was spot on!! The view was beautiful, the pool quiet and serene, the waterfall in the pool blocking out any noise and leading to a feeling of tranquility. With all the rain we had it was some times difficult to tell if it was the waterfall or another shower but I did enjoy watching the rain as much as watching the ocean. If cleanliness is next to Godliness then I must have been in church. The apartment was very very clean, the stairwells and the grounds also well kept. The day we left the maid removed everything from the cupboards, drawers and fridge to give it all a good cleaning. No detail was to small. The maid/cook was FANTASIC. We enjoyed her famous lasagna, her coconut fish, goat stew (even for breakfast). With her help I was able to pick up more Spanish, more then the 3 previous visits to the D.R. Between the dictionaries and Google translate we found the few words we were struggling with. Thank you for providing a very comprehensive booklet that included everything we needed to know. I can't think of anything that was missing. The extra bonus was having a local cell phone. We may not have used it much but we were able to contact some local friends rather then walking up the hill and knocking at the door. The complex was well guarded and I felt safe at all times. When a friend came to the door he was accompanied by the security staff to ensure he was a welcomed guest. Anyone booking this location should know that the small market 1 block over (Juan's) has better prices for some items then the large Supermarket in town. Some of the items I compared were alcohol, cranberry juice and Pringles. These items were 30 to 50 pesos less at the local market. If you pay in U.S $ he will give you change back in U.S $ and his exchange rate for dollars to pesos are as good if not better than the banks. Go early during the week if you want some fresh buns as rich as croissants. Looking for something different to do.....head over to Ocean World Wed night for an evening of karaoke and you may catch one of the Dominican's best bachata dancers. Buy a bottle and mix, sit down and get to know some new people. Hope to get back. I think I made a friend of the maid. Hope she enjoyed the music I played on my laptop for her to sing and dance to while we were out. Hope she is OK and safe with the flooding."

  • Wonderful Time!

"This is a very easy review to write. Nicole could not have been more pleasant to work with. She was always there throughout the entire process. Everything was very simple, from the payment process all the way to check out. About her Aquamarina unit, very well appointed, clean, lots of space (guessing around 2500 sq ft). Kitchen was modern and had everything you need. We cooked a few times, but mainly ate at the restauants in the complex, which were very nice and a very good value. We had never been to Punta Cana and just loved it. Cap Cana is an amazing, pristine place. To say it's a resort is a bit misleading, mainly under selling the property, it's huge and very spread out over many many acres. Not over run with tons of people, made for a very relaxing vacation for my Wife and two teenagers. Plenty to do for our children. I could go on and on.... All I can say is that there is a reason for all the good reviews for this condo. They are all on point and I completely agree and echo all of them. This vacation well exceeded my expectations, We will be back."
