  • Great Place

"We had a wonderfull time in st lucia, the house was great, beautifull views. The owner is very informative , good information about restauarants etc. We had a problem with the gate, the management company helped very fast and solved the problem. We went kitesurfing in casenbas, took a trip with Exodus tours to the south, in short: we enjoyed it!"

  • paradise found!

"This house is a paradise! We have rented quite a few places in the Caribbean and this one was really the best to us: the charm of it with its brick walls, the sea and mountain view, the large and warm swimming pool, the lay out, the outside shower, and the people of course... I am probably forgetting many things... The island itself is beautiful. Not so easy to discover with small kids that are easily getting car sick (another good excuse to take advantage of the house), the beaches we liked the most were 45 minute driving distance on very curvy roads. We have travelled a lot in the Caribbean and people in Saint Lucia have been friendlier than anywhere else. The house could be tricky for families with toddlers (until 3 year old maybe). We had 2 kids 4 and 7, it was perfect but we showed them how to be careful as the house is on a hill top and the pool is not protected. Thanks again so much for the great vacation and memories!!!"

  • Wonderful Retreat

"When you enter Albatross Nest you find yourself in a spectacular retreat with panoramic views overlooking the vast Caribbean, the coastline of St. Lucia and the island of Martinique. Sailboats and and ships are mesmerizing to watch day and night as you gaze down at the sea and out on the horizon. The beaches below the villa in front of the Cap Maison and Le Sport resorts are a 5 minute drive away and welcome visitors for swimming, sunning and water sports. They are also good places for lunch and dinner. But you don't want to miss the sunsets at Albatross Nest while floating in the pool with an evening beverage or lounging on the terraces and open living room. We found that we often wanted to stay for dinner and got groceries in Rodney Bay, just a ten minute drive away. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a great outdoor grill. The staff is outstanding with a manager who will arrange anything you need. We had a wonderful day on a boat down to the famous Pitons. The housekeeper and gardener kept the house and grounds immaculate and were very friendly and accommodating. We rented a car, which was all arranged by the house manager, and delivered and picked up at the house. The driving can be a bit challenging but easy enough and good to have the mobility and flexibility for short trips to the market, restaurants and beaches. We'd recommend a cab for longer trips like to to the airport, Pitons or rain forest. Overall, we had a verymemorable family experience."

  • EVERYTHING……and more!!!!

"My husband and I had had it with the NY Winter of 2015, so booked a whole month on St Lucia. The Coco View Villa was number one on our list of places to stay and Diane got back almost immediately….We booked and for months, we were looking forward to our visit. The villa was EVERYTHING and more, as described. What wasn't mentioned were the caretakers, Cynthia and Mike, who from the minute of our arrival, tended to our every need….And here's the best….they became fast friends. When we left, I cried buckets of tears…but I know I have forever friends in Cynthia and Mike. As for the villa, you will NOT be disappointed. If you stay for an extended period of time, you will become a part of the neighborhood…We LOVED that and that's why resorts are of no interest to us. I LOVED cooking meals with all the native veggies and fish and Mike was always ready with a new recipe idea to try!!! The surrounding gardens are beautiful with all sorts of things growing for guests enjoyment…And our next door neighbor, Ernie, dropped off fresh grapefruit…yum…and Harry, one of the gardeners, dropped off mangos. We stayed in the Coconut Suite, the top floor, and it was perfect for our needs…well equipped for cooking and bright and airy. The view is SPECTACULAR!!!! We also had the Palm Suite for a week when our two grown daughters visited and that was fantastic, as well!!! As for Diane and Ken, the owners……they are wonderful…Easy to work with them and so accommodating….I bought a guide book for St Lucia which was totally useless…Diane's packet is MUCH MORE useful and we did just about everything that was suggested….without disappointment!!!! Diane and Ken "found" us on the beach the second day we were there…Off sailing, they stopped by to check in with us…I was amazed that they found us and took the time to make sure we were happy and comfortable…Really? Instant love, for sure!!!! My husband is not a real beach lover like I am, but he found lots to do that he liked doing and so we were both happy!!! Do NOT miss out on a stay here…."
