  • Very nice and great view.

"Wish they had AC. Also bring slippers as it's dusty during the dry season and the floors are somewhat dirty."

  • Rustic, Unique & remote

"The house is great --- roomy, comfortable and authentic. Pictures show it well. The real treat is the location --- close enough to the tourist acitivities and far from the crowds & cacophony. Best part was a tour of the coffee farm by Alexander. Hosts are very accommodating. We sat on the patio in the mornings and watched the amazing array of birds. Took a couple walks around the farm. Strong internet. Be prepared for some very rugged roads. Grocery store in Santa Elena served us well. Do not miss the restaurant just a few hundred yards away. A rustic setting, seating only outdoors. Ken can direct you, but the food is spectacular and cheap."

  • What a fun home!

"My party of nine arrived in the middle of a rainstorm which made us a bit late but Sabine was patiently waiting to greet us. She made us fell welcome with a tour of the house and offers to book any of the adventures we chose. The home itself is one of the most interesting we've ever rented. I was a little worried about the outdoor stairways with the storm but they're all under cover and we kept dry. We used the top level for gathering and games and the rest for sleeping and privacy. The middle level deck was perfect for morning coffee. Definitely quirky, cute, and well located. We had a blast!"
