  • Great place to stay, a quiet piece of paradise

"We loved this place, the photos don't do it justice! We went as a group of 6 friends and the house worked well as a base to relax and unwind. The house itself is great and bedrooms comfortable, with the main bedroom the best for a couple but the bunk room was fine for adults to share too. The balcony upstairs gives you a great view over the ocean and BBQ area outside we used several times. We also loved making a fire on the beach under the stars at night, because it's so far away from any light pollution the night sky was incredible. Lynda was great to deal with and made it easy for us to book, sent clear directions etc... and Carlos/Carolina made sure we had what we needed when we arrived."

  • We almost became surfer wannabes here!

"We were a group of 3 couples (2 living in Canada) in our early 50s, meeting up for our annual week of winter escape and this house suited our needs well. Though not on the water, there are distant views from the balcony of the tropical Caribbean water. The beds were super comfy and each bedroom has it's own spacious ensuite bathrooms. Kitchen is huge and modern. This place was built with high quality everything, appliances, fixtures, furniture and beds even! The gardens are pretty too. There is a full on water slide you can rent (we didn't but if you had teens or kids they might LOVE it!) I thought we might miss having a pool, but in all honesty we spent all our time at beaches that when we arrived home in the evening we welcomed being inside in the A/C with a cold beer and wifi!!! We rented the 2 golf carts which allowed us to do things (go to beaches, to the water taxi, to shop or eat) on our own timeline. We'd go into town for dinner each evening (there are some good places to eat- we all LOVED the Indian restaurant "Om" and La Casba.) Also we recommend taking a boat to the various islands. Make sure to include Isla Zapatillos. We were well-above the average age bracket of the 'surfer and backpacker" crowd, but still had a great time exploring the area for 4 days. Take a water taxi across to the nearby island to learn to surf and be sure to go to Bibi's for drinks and lunch and Happy Hour. We actually liked being a bit of a distance from Bocas town. It was REALLY relaxing being away from the crowds during the Carnaval holiday. If you turn left coming out of the gates of the estate, you will drive through an amazing jungle rainforest. Also try Scully's place on the beach (by the pizza place). We didn't care for Drago beach- too many people, dirtier feeling sand and more trash all strewn about."

  • Great Getaway!

"We just spent a month at the Playa Serena condo in Nueva Gorgona, Panama. The condo, the view, and the pool were absolutely wonderful!! Chris and Maureen (the owners) were very helpful! My husband was too tall/big for the Suzuki Jimny, but they were very good about giving us our money back. We found the fish market in Rio Hato (about 30 minutes away), and we enjoyed lobster, corvina, red snapper, shrimp, and langostinos all month long. This was a great treat for Nebraskans! The fresh fruit and vegetables were also fantastic! I even lost 8 pounds because of the healthy eating! We enjoyed side trips to the Pearl Islands (best snorkeling ever!), Boquete, el Valle de Anton, and a train ride along the Panama Canal. My only complaint would be the crazy traffic in Panama City and along the Pan American highway. Fortunately, my husband was brave enough to battle it! I would strongly recommend a stay at this condo!"

  • Enjoyed our stay at Paradise in Pedasi

"The property is as featured in the ad. The master bedroom is spacious. The smaller room has a double bed and bunk beds. It would have been close quarters for four people but would work well for kids. The owner was quick to respond to our questions. We probably overloaded the electrical system by having all the air conditioners on, so some instructions about that would have been helpful. The neighborhood is peaceful and locals are friendly. You can quickly walk into a rural area from the house. The beaches are long and sandy, although there is a lot of debris at high tide line. We were there in the rainy season, so with better planning we would have chosen a drier season. On the other hand, it wasn't blistering hot!"
