  • Steps away from the Trevi Fountain

"The apartment is attractively furnished and very clean. Living/dining room is spacious and comfortable with multiple electrical outlets. Excellent WiFi connection. Kitchen small but functional, with full-size (European) fridge, microwave, gas cooktop, dishwasher, pots & pans, cutlery and dishes. There is no oven; but this was fine for us as we weren't interested in preparing large meals. The washing machine is quite new and very efficient, perfect for those of us who travel with only carry-on luggage. A larger drying rack would be helpful. The bathroom is more than adequate with excellent water pressure in the shower. Bedroom with comfortable queen bed is on the quiet side of the apartment, with french doors opening onto a tiny balcony. The small elevator easily accommodated two adults + luggage. There are two good Coop supermarkets within easy walking distance and many nearby restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Il Chianti (Tuscan specialties, excellent wine list) in the square directly opposite the apartment and Piccolo Buco (great pizza and pasta) about 1/2 block to the right along Via del Lavatore. The apartment is within easy walking distance of many sights - Trevi, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, etc. as well as the Barberini metro station. There is a constant hum of activity in the street below the living/dining room windows, which quiets down shortly after midnight. Late October/early November weather was warm enough to have the windows open most of the time and we found the noise level manageable. As previously mentioned, the bedroom is very quiet. With four people staying it might be necessary to have the living room windows closed and use air conditioning. Pamela arranged transportation to and from Fiumicino airport, which was very convenient, and allowed a much-appreciated early check-in after our overnight trans-Atlantic flight. Our only (minor) concern is that Pamela was not very responsive to our questions while we were in residence. We were told that the cleaners would leave capsules for the Krug/Nespresso coffee maker, which they didn't, and requested advice about where to purchase them. We also requested information about the street-level door buzzers to gain access to the apartment, or a second set of keys, since we were on different schedules during the stay. Overall, we would recommend this apartment as a comfortable and convenient alternative to a Rome hotel."

"Overall: Excellent location and good value. We stayed in the same building before where there are several apartments and love the area. The place is clean and well equipped. Enjoyed Most: Location, near everything and previous guests left many travel books on Rome that we used. Very quiet, bed comfortable, cool breeze from windows and overall a great place to stay in heart of Rome. Enjoyed Least: The view looks onto the courtyard, but don't let this deter you! Surrounding Area: Heart of Rome and most places you can walk. Many restaurants and historic things to see. Tips or Restaurants: Small flashlight, plastic baggies for leftovers etc. We have learned it is easier to use a Woolite type product in the sink for any washing of clothes. Restaurants around the corner from Campo dei Fiori is Da Pancrazio, and if you go to their lower level you will see the remains of a former Roman amphitheater. They also still use this area for the restaurant and there is a small model of what it looked like 2,000 years ago. Directions: We had our driver call ahead, as we rented there before. Check In Out: Hussan was great and let us in a little early. The day before our departure to Italy I received a telephone call from the property manger confirming we were coming in and the time."

  • A Wonderful Week in Rome!

"We spent seven nights at Teodora and found it to be the perfect place from which to explore Rome. The location is stellar, just a stroll from the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. The apartment offers great space and was perfect for us! While the kitchen is not state-of-the-art, it is very well-equipped and highly functional. We loved the espresso bar across the street and the food shop below well as the huge variety of shops all around. We found great restaurants and a good food market within a couple of blocks. We used Stefano, the driver recommended by Italyperfect, several times during our stay and we recommend him highly: very knowledgeable and professional, as was our greeter when we arrived. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we would use Italyperfect anytime on return trips to this great country!"
