  • Superb

"Great location, close to the center, can be darkened completely The dirt in the main entrance floors and stairs, also the kitchen should have more utensils."

  • LOCATION LOCATION

"This property was an excellent location near the Spanish steps. A bit noisy at night but that is to be expected when you are near the main attraction. The family was very nice. Roof terrace was excellent. Great views, & seating & lovely rose bushes & lemontrees surrounded the perimeter of the terrace. Bedroom were very good. Living area was very small & had a dining table in that space so was not great for 3 people to sit comfortably. There was only one comfy chair & an ottoman. BUT we didn't spend much time inside. I would recommend better seating & a collapsible table since that was something we didn't even use. I had not seen anyone else mention that the access to the apartment was up the elevator to the 5th floor then up a flight of steps to the roof top terrace, across the terrace & then down another flight of steps to the front door. This was not a terrible inconvenience but it is something to make note of. The family did let us take out luggage up & through their apt so we didn't have to drag it over the roof. Kitchen was compact & inside an armoire in the hallway, but this worked for us as we only made coffee in the morning. Overall it was a great stay."

  • Lovely amenities in central neighborhood

"Gabriella's family apartment was a wonderful space for our two families to stay in Rome. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and used the 3 bedrooms, sofa bed and provided crib. The sofa bed was easily used as another bedroom since it had a door separating it from the kitchen which doubled as a nice gathering area. The air conditioning worked well and Netflix was available making the kids happy. While we did not cook there - so much good food in Rome! - plenty of pots, pans, plates and glassware were available as well as a microwave, stove and dishwasher. It would be great for a stay longer than ours as well. The bathrooms were modern with the largest showers we had in Italy (still not competing with American suburbs, but I could raise both elbows at the same time!). One had fancy jets, etc. that my kid loved experimenting with. The location was great. 15 minutes walk to the Colosseum, 2 blocks from a cab stand (metered rates, so no worries), about 3 blocks from the Metro and 10 minutes from Termini, the main train station and main Metro stop. Out the door to the left is BAR where coffee and pastries were available starting at 7am. The only challenge we had was around laundry. You can't have all the air conditioners on and run laundry at the same time (or maybe only when it's 90 degrees F and everyone else has their AC on) without having to throw the breaker. Also, even after the 2 hour dryer cycle, laundry was still damp. We didn't see a line to use. The breaker was easily accessible by the front door and I think this is a Rome problem, not specific to this apartment. Gabriella did warn of this in advance. All in all, a great stay in a lovely, updated apartment!"

  • We loved the apartment and the location!

"The location of the apartment was great. We were in walking distance to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps!!! Luca and Fillipo were amazing and very helpful! We felt very fortunate in being able to stay in their location and for all the help and suggestions they gave to us. We will be sure to recommend their buildings/apartments to friends and whenever we visit Rome again we will be sure to look for a vacancy in one of their locations!!!!!"
