This townhome is beautifully decorated. Comfortable lounge area. Fully equipped kitchen and lovely balcony, perfect to relax with a glass of wine. Beds and linens are very comfortable. Bathrooms are modern and very nice. It's a good 20/25 minute walk to the center of the downtown area. We ubered when we didn't have time to walk. Greenville theater is a 10 minute walk away. Starbucks is literally next door. We ate at Sobys restaurant which was excellent. Had drinks and appetizers at Limoncello which was great too. Sassafras restaurant was very average if not a bit disappointing.
All in all we had a fabulous trip.
This little apartment was a WONDERFUL place to stay. Beautiful area, quiet, historic... everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable, the needed amenities were there. My 4-star as to on-line listing was because it appeared to have us park in the covered garage, but upon arrival, that was not an option. The hostess very politely corrected our choice - all was made right. We attended for an historical function in Camden and will continue to. We hope to utilize this property in the future.
Excellent place. Wonderful hostess.
This was our very first trip to Myrtle Beach! Thanks to our gracious Host, it will not be our last, we will definitely book the same location our next visit . Our accommodations were heavenly, from the sign on the front door “Home” to the warm, quaint, cozy, functional, and welcoming decor inside, everything was clean and comfortable! We truly felt at home and at peace. No detail was left unnoticed, to the comfy furniture and extra amenities, beach chairs, umbrellas and more. We received wonderful recommendations for the area. We patronized many of the locations listed; Myrtle Beach, Broadway On The Beach, Eggs Up, Donald’s, Rip Tydz , the House of Blues, and more. We were not disappointed, there was not enough time In a day to do the many other recommendations.
We lost a vacation day to Hurricane Idalia. We hankered down, played board games, which were provided at the condo and cooked in the well stocked kitchen.
Location is everything, the condo is centrally located to many things, which was a plus, the beach, shopping and eating. Let’s not mention being on the golf course, and easy accessible pools on the property. Much gratitude to the host for making our vacation a success, we highly recommend staying here on your visit to Myrtle Beach ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ a home away from home!
The home is better than pictured! So much space to hang out & enjoy indoors & out. Gorgeous decor & furnishings! The screened in patio was amazing to enjoy the evenings without pests! The fan kept it nice & cool.
We all enjoyed kayaking, SUPs and just floating in the warm lake. Plenty of lifejackets in all sizes (nice and new & clean). It was nice to have the beach towels at the door.
The sheets were so soft and the beds were very comfy!
We rented a pontoon nearby for some tubing, and had a blast at nearby Whitewater Center and Southtown Wake Park. We explored Charlotte. The FunnyBus was a great way to see the city!
Beautiful property, inside and out; responsive and gracious owners; central to lots of other things to do.
A few things to note... 2 bedrooms upstairs have ensuite bathrooms, plus 1half bath upstairs.
The AMAZING 6 bunk bed room & the 2 queen rooms downstairs all share 1 full bath (and another half)... this was not easy for the 10 people to negotiate during shower/ bath time, but we managed.
Some AC issues upon arrival but the owners worked as quickly as they could to get it resolved (I do wish that I had a phone number to call or text in that circumstance, rather than use the app which had a delay).
Note that the lake is VERY shallow at the dock... you must step in and float/ swim/ boat out to deeper waters to swim or jump... the floating mat worked great for the kids to play and jump off when we pulled it to deeper waters.
Overall, a great stay!!
We enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It was close to downtown - driving about 8 minutes or less. So many fun things to do in downtown Aiken. The host was very responsive to all our needs and offered lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do.
