Stayed for three nights for a father and son winter trip to Europa park from the UK.Ideal base for short stay all within walking distance to the park.

We stayed here for a week in early July and had a fantastic holiday. Hans and Anna are perfect hosts, cheerful, friendly and very welcoming, and and their garden apartment that we stayed in was immaculate and fully equipped with everything that anyone would ever need. The apartment is in a beautiful village with a bakery, bank, several good places to eat and drink and a supermarket. We had a busy week filled with lots of fun and interesting things to do and most of them within a few km where we were staying. I'd recommend staying here in a heartbeat, it's a beautiful location with friendly people and plenty to do for both kids and adults. Thank you Hans and Anna for a lovely holiday.

The property is small and secluded from the rest of the house. Very narrow, steep staircase leading to the apartment. We have a small dog that we had to carry up each time. If the weather is bad (we had rain and a sudden decrease in temperature) the apartment is not ideal. Balcony is very small. This apartment ideal for younger couples without pets.

Nice stay

We were a family of 4 with 2 boys aged 12 and 15. Siegfried and Claudia were very helpful and accommodating, and the house is lovely. Everything was perfectly clean and modern, and plenty of basic essentials when we arrived like detergent, sugar etc. There are shops in St. Georgen which is only a few minutes drive away. There are several walks into the forest directly from the house, so we didn't have to drive to start exploring the area. There is a stream running beside the house which provided lots of entertainment for our boys. The house is conveniently located for driving to Europa Park, France (Strasbourg) and Switzerland (Stein am Rhein) all of which are highly recommended if you want to keep everyone entertained! The giant couch, flat screen TV and Apple TV was fantastic for the evenings where we could relax together after a day hiking etc. This was an ideal way for us to explore the Black Forest, thanks Siegfried and Claudia!
