We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the beautiful island of Kefalonia. The villa was excellent, clean, spacious and well equipped. Private drive way and parking for a hire car which we had. The villa is located a short walk to the small beach front of Keteilios with bars and restaurants. Ten minute drive to the busier town of Skala.

We stayed in Katelios in 2023 and really wanted to come back but the villas we saw didn't quite have everything we wanted. We spotted Villa Ersi and this seemed to and it didn't disappoint. It is very easy to find and only a couple of minutes to the centre of the village in a car. We got there a couple of hours early due to flight times but the villa was ready and spotless having just been cleaned. It is a beautiful villa both on the interior and exterior with everything we needed. All rooms have well appointed en suites, AC, comfy beds and TV's. The lounge is very comfortable and if you don't like the sofa layout it can be easily changed to suit. The sun shines on the patio all day and then only goes behind the villa at around 6pm. The kids had enough grass to play football on and the pool was a perfect size for four of us. Last year we were inundated with wasps, but this year there were hardly any.....Maybe being based further down the hill is a factor? As is common in Greece the electrics went out around about 10pm one night. We tried everything with the electric box but nothing seemed to work. Reluctantly (due to the time) I WhatsApp'd the owner to ask what we needed to do and didn't expect a reply till the morning...within 10 mins there was a knock at the door and he was there (from his day job) to sort it out. It was simply a trip on the box at the main entrance to the villa. Overall a lovely trip and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa.

Perfect property for us

This is a super property within walking distance to some restaurants, bars and a couple of shops with essentials. The pool and outdoor space is fabulous and all bedrooms are a good size. I would happily visit again.

Amazing place to have a relaxing holiday

Casa Azilem is an amazing place to have a relaxing holiday in Kefalonia. The villa has views to the sea and is well positioned being walkable to the town. The swimming pool was a big attraction although a couple more sun loungers would be beneficial. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, glasses and plastic cups for having round the pool. The house is big enough for everyone to have their own space. Zoi, the owner, was very responsive to my messages and was very thoughtful in adding something to our welcome pack as we had a very late arrival. Thank you Zoi for your help and restaurant suggestions. We will be back to Kefalonia and will definitely stay at Casa Azilem

Just lovely

Great studio , great pool and a delightful location . Giannis the owner was also very helpful . Katelios is a fabulous place to stay- great beaches and great tavernas . Not sleepy at all but far quieter than some of the larger towns on the Island .

Wonderful villa in a fantastic location

We have just come back from a wonderful 1 week stay at Sunny Coco Mat villa in Katelios. Having stayed in many villas in Kefalonia over the years, this has to rate as one of the best. It is exceptionally clean, bright, airy and comfortable, with excellent facilities. We were given a warm welcome by the host’s family on arrival and there are really useful typed instructions provided for all the facilities. The host, Gerasimos, always responded immediately to any query and was very accommodating on enabling us to check in early and check out at a time to suit us. The 360 degree views around the villa are stunning, with large balconies and verandahs enabling you to enjoy them to the full. Fantastically located just a short walk from the beach, shops and tavernas, yet still very peaceful, I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to others and will certainly return in the future. Thank you Gerasimos and your family.
