Wonderful time

We really enjoyed our stay and couldn't fault it. The property was well equipped with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Angela was very friendly and provided us with good suggestions of where to visit and where to eat. We travelled to many of the villages and towns she recommended and loved Basilicata. A car is necessary if you want to enjoy all that is on offer. We hope to stay again sometime in the not too distant future as there is much we would still like to see and places we would like to return to.

Perfect apartment with beautiful garden. Quiet, rural location , ideal for exploring the area.

Clean and comfortable, with good provision for self catering. We had temperatures well over 30 degrees every day but the house was cool and there are lots of lovely shady lounging areas in the garden. The views of the olive groves are beautiful and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, watching the sunset from our upstairs terrace and the sky at night. The roads are quiet, the nearest shops and small town is a short drive away and there are lots of hill towns to explore. There are lots of long sandy beaches within easy reach. Matera is a 45 minute drive away. Great base for exploring Basilicata.

Lovely property

We stayed here out of season so there was hardly anything open in the area - only a few people staying on the complex. I can imagine it would be totally different in the middle of summer. Nice property but could do with better heating in the cooler months as it was freezing at night (we stayed early April) Lovely patio dining area, great second bedroom for the kids - they loved the bunk beds. Good size, good facilities in the property but nowhere to take rubbish and recycling when we were there. Friendly owners, helpful, they answered any questions we had via text. I would recommend.
