"We were at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort for our son's wedding. Robert Childs helped me with booking enough accomodations for 18 people in our party. We were upgraded to 2 Monte Cristo Villas by Yazmin, the front desk manager. She was so delightful and professional. I can't say enough about Robert Childs. He recommended a fabulous venue, Puerta Vieja, for the rehearsal dinner. The food was delicious, and the venue had a phenomenal view. Robert also gave us a list of other things to do in the area, as well as restaurant recommendations. We hired a driver (Alex Garcia) that was one of the most dependable and personable people I have ever met. The Monte Cristo Villas are breathtaking. The view is spectacular, and the amenities are awesome. The kitchen was fully equipped. We even grilled steaks out on the patio. It was so relaxing, and we didn't have to get out of our bathing suits for dinner. Everyone in our party had a very comfortable bed to sleep in, and more than enough bathrooms. Raul, our concierge, was so helpful and took care of all of our needs. Elizabeth, the maid, did a great job!! We loved having our own pool and hot tub. Even though we had the added stress and excitement of a wedding, we were very relaxed and comfortable. Our entire group wants to go back and stay at the Monte Cristo Villas again. I would ONLY book it through Robert Childs. He was so easy to contact and took care of EVERYTHING!! It was a great vacation/wedding experience for all of us. Thanks to Robert Childs and Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort."

  • Beautiful view and across from the beach!

"My family spent 8 days at the beautiful Casa Brisa Del Mar. I loved staying here. The house is very modern and had everything we needed to cook and bake, both of which we do a lot. The hot tub and infinity pool facing the Pacific were amazing. We spent a lot of our time there. Dining at the table and watching the sunset was another favorite. Beware: the stone floors are very unforgiving when you drop things or knock something over, so we ended up replacing a few wine glasses. The glass shatters in a million pieces so bring a comfy pair of house slippers, just in case. I'd suggest using plastic, of which there is plenty for pool-friendliness. The beach entry is directly across the street, so that was fun too. There is also a large playground at the base of the driveway, where I played with my nephews. It has a basketball court, slide, swings and fort. Lots of fun! There is lots to do right around the house and lots of books too, if you just want to hang out in the hammock. I liked that 3 of the 4 bedrooms had Pacific-facing balconies. The beds are very comfortable and Maribelle came to clean every day. She was so sweet and wonderful but I would probably choose every other day next time. The staff is helpful and kind. If there is any issue, they will come fix it immediately. The hot tub wasn't hot enough for us, so we emailed one night and they came the next morning to turn it up to our desired temp. The pool cleaners came twice and were unobtrusive and kind. We rented a car, but it is just as easy to call for a cab if you want to go into town. The walk to town is hilly but not super long so that's possible too if you don't mind the heat. We ended up staying at the house a lot but also went shopping, golfing and boating. p.s. if you rent a car, be prepared to pay for the Mexican insurance, which is expensive. We have tried many companies, but there is no getting around this. I definitely would stay here again!"

  • More than we could have imagined!!!!

"WOW!!! Casa de Suenos was amazing in every way!! A group of 7 of us stayed for a week and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation! I've been working with Kristen, the owner, and Kristen, the property manager, for almost a year planning our vacation - from coordinating the transportation to/from the airport, scheduling the margarita party (omg AMAZING...best margaritas we've had!), answering my questions immediately, to making sure all of our needs were taken care of, this was one of the best vacations we've had. As far as the house, its was better than we imagined! The house was extremely spacious and everyone was very comfortable since there were bathrooms in each bedroom - 2 of the rooms had 2 queen beds in each so it accommodated the 1 girl and 2 guys in our group - having separate beds was a must for the non-couples :-). Not to mention, the kitchen was huge and easily accommodated our group for cooking and dinner. Now, the best part of the house was hands down the patio and pool! The pool overlooks the marina area of Cabo and I don't think I've seen a better sunrise than from laying by the pool at 6am. The pool was perfect to relax in and we definitely took advantage of the outdoor grill/patio. I can't say enough great things about this house and we are definitely planning a trip to go back next year! If I had to pick a con, I would say the walk UP the hill... walking down, isn't so bad but walking up the 1/2 mile cobblestone street can be a little tough in the heat. From the marina area, cabs ranged from $13-$20USD., so with a group of 7, it ended up being cheap per person. Another thing that makes this house so special is the location to the beach. The house sits on top of a hill and on the other side, is the BEAUTIFUL private Pedegral beach. Its about a 10 minute walk but we were the only people on the beach and it was spectacular! The waves are HUGE and it was pretty cool to look up at all the pretty homes on the hillside. I highly recommend Casa de Suenos and can't wait to start planning our next trip back! Thanks again Kristen and Brad for your hospitality and opening up your beautiful home!"

  • Most relaxing trip ever!

"Our first trip to Cabo, and my husband and I were looking for a place to decompress and spend some kid-free time together. I loved the pictures of this condo and the description of this place as NOT being the place to go if you were looking for wild partying. We couldn't have been happier with this choice! I just don't think the pictures do the place justice. We arrived in the afternoon and Bob had already been to the condo to open the sliders to let in the breeze, and stock the fridge with some cold waters and cervezas to welcome us. And we felt very welcomed! Once we arrived it was very hard to think of any reasons to leave. The view is spectacular, the kitchen well stocked and the bed was super comfortable. Bob and Lynn have thought of everything! We knew immediately that this was a place we would return to. I don't know if it was the timing but it was VERY quiet while we were there. The only other humans we heard were the gardeners occasionally. We slept great and found a way to "squeeze in" naps every day :) Some notes: - We weren't sure if we'd need a car or not but in the end decided to get one and we were glad we did. You don't HAVE to have one but it does give you some freedom to get around. We rented from BBB Rentals and were extremely happy with them. Check them out, they were great to work with - We stopped at Walmart the day we arrived and picked up some basic groceries and we will do the same next time. Walmart is not too far from the condo. We also used the ATM there to change some money to pesos - If you want to eat at Sunset da MonaLisa get your reservations way in advance! We couldn't get in for prime time while we were there, but we did go to the bar and that was pretty awesome too - We loved Tacos Gardenias in town so much we ate there 3 times. Great tacos and ceviche and very reasonably priced. http://www.tacosgardenias.com - We went out for 2 nice dinners- one at Puerta Vieja up the road from Misiones, and one on Medano Beach at Hacienda Cocina & Cantina. Both were great, but Hacienda was worth the trip to see the beautiful grounds. - We did the walk along the beach into town to eat breakfast at Mango deck on our last day. It is a challenging walk (I'm sure my husband will forgive me some day) with a beautiful view the whole time. I recommend wearing some good athletic sandals as you'll be climbing some rocks. We loved this place! Thanks, Bob & Lynn!"
