  • A Hidden Gem

"Casa Visa Oasis is a true gem. I had the pleasure of staying here in January with friends. There were 6 of us and not once did we feel that we were in one another's way. The floor plan of this home is very well laid out .If you are looking for a home that will accommodate a small or large group or a romantic getaway look no further. The bedrooms are very large with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Unbelievable!! The home is centrally located ... you are within walking distance to the quaint town of San Jose, Wal Mart , the American Hospital and amazing golf courses are close by. The home backs onto a well maintained park which was another unexpected, pleasant surprise. You can tell the owner(s) take pride in their Casa and it is evident from how well the home, pool and grounds are maintained. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to my family and friends . All you need to bring is your personal items. Start packing !"

  • Property was exactly as described. Excellent room, enormois comfortable bed, 10 paces from the pool

"My first experience using Home & Away and I must say it was perfect. The owners are incredibly responsive and their agents, Arturo and Roberto in Mexico couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. They were also incredibly punctual with email communication which I really appreciated. Roberto met us on arrival, brought a new coffee machine and answered any questions we had, he made us feel extremely welcome. The room was spacious with everything we needed In the kitchen as well. Great fridge and freezer, nice flat TV, great bed, lovely private area to sit outside in the evenings and just a few steps and you jump into a lovely swimming pool (if you don't like swimming pools with too much chlorine you'll love this one). Only thing I would caution are the built in sofa beds, they are effectively single bed width, OK for kids but probably not ideal for adults who move in their sleep. The Bahia resort itself is very pleasant and clean, friendly and helpful staff, a great restaurant, particulay in the evenings, and a great location, just a 'stones throw' from the beautiful Medano beach and the Marina area. I would highly recommend this to anyone."

  • The BEST resort at a great price

"This is the third time we've stayed at Estancia, and the second time at this unit. We have had the good fortune to stay at many great places, including five star hotels, and my wife and I both feel that this is the best place that we have ever stayed. Our particular unit is the least expensive one that I could find anywhere in this complex, and the owner Rick is very helpful and usually quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I like being on the ground floor for ease of access, but the higher floors have somewhat nicer views. All of the units in this complex are beautiful, with views of the ocean and Los Arcos. The rooms are very spacious, and having the second bedroom attached but separate is very nice for privacy from/for our kids. With many excellent restaurants, pools, and bars between the three complexes (Palmar and Arco ar the other two - less expensive but not quite as elegant), you don't ever have to leave. Downtown Cabo is a brief cab ride or about a 20-30 minute walk along the beach, with endless other activities to do and see. We will definitely keep coming back!"

"This is a great place. We went swimming & snorkeling right out the front door. We found several great restaurants in town. Had a great fishing trip. Rented kayaks & paddleboards in town. Los Barriles is a great mix of old and new Mexico. We look forward to returning."
