We all absolutely no complaints on our stay, the properly was cleaned for our arrival and we even had a cake with some wine left for our arrival. I only gave 4 stars for accuracy of online listing due to the maps location on the posting did not match where the location actually was and we got a lil lost but a quick call with the host and we found it.

Just fabulous!

We booked Fairnilee House for our big family Christmas. The house surpassed all our expectations and was just amazing. Luxurious furnishings, comfortable beds, fantastic showers and despite its size, extremely warm and felt just like home. The house is extremely well equipped, with an extensive selection of crockery and glassware which made for some beautiful suppers in the grand dining room. The property is just 15 minutes from excellent amenities but it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. We were checked upon regularly, by Andrew, to ensure we had everything we needed and had copious amounts of logs so we always had a roaring fire in the Drawing Room. The cinema room, snooker table and the playroom ensured everyone was well entertained. An awesome house!

The Annex was beautiful - clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. Well located in the beautiful tweed valley, close to lots of things to do and see! Would definitely come again.

4 day yoga and meditation retreat

The property is beautiful as are the surroundings. The housekeeping was excellent. Everything we needed was there. We had an outside caterer who provided all our meals from nearby. Everyone had a wonderful stay enjoying the comfy beds beautiful linen and lovely garden.

Family friendly, great location

Perfect house for our get together with family. We booked the trail house and the wee trail house next door. Plenty of space to spread out. Well equiped with everything we needed to do our own cooking. Perfect location for biking at Glentress. Clean and nicely decorated. Great communication with host.
