  • Amazing vacation in Corner Unit, Crystal Shores!

"We stayed in this wonderful corner unit from July 23-30, 2016. The condo was beautifully decorated just as the photos showed on VRBO, and everything was clean and in good condition. The view from the balcony was amazing, and my husband and I sat out there multiple times throughout the day if we didn't want to be out on the beach, and enjoyed our adult beverages each night along with the evening breezes! The location of the building is very convenient to everything in Gulf Shores, and an easy 10-15 minute drive to Orange Beach attractions as well. The local owner was wonderful to deal with! We called him with a (very) small issue, and he arrived exactly when he said that he would, fixed the problem, and then stayed for a few minutes to chat with us about what we wanted to do during our visit. Our 29th Anniversary was during our stay, and he gave us several recommendations of good (but not too pricey) restaurants to try. We ended up eating at Cosmo's, and we had a great celebration dinner! We had two teenage girls with us, and they LOVED going to the Hangout which is just down the street! All of us went there for the free music a couple of times, and the girls went by themselves a few times as well. The atmosphere is very family friendly, and we got a kick out of watching kids dancing, playing PokemonGo, bouncing on the trampoline bouncers, and we even did a little dancing ourselves. We also took the girls to The Track to play putt-putt golf and drive the go-carts, which was a lot of fun for them, and we went to the Gulf Shores Zoo which, although it is small, made for a nice couple of hours looking at and feeding some of the animals. We also used Chute for the Skye parasailing, and the girls had a fun experience with the staff on the boat. We got some great pics of them while they were parasailing by using the company's photo package - well worth the $30 fee. All in all, we had a relaxing week at Crystal Shores, and would absolutely recommend this corner unit to anyone who is looking for more than just a "cute" condo. The owner also had our deposit returned to us in less than 24 hours after we left, which we were extremely pleased about! It was really nice to deal with such a personable, honest person while planning our first trip to Gulf Shores, AL. Hopefully, we will be back again some day!"

  • Best condo ever

"We go to gulf shores every year. This condo is by far our favorite. If you open the sliding doors, you get a great breeze through the condo. The decor is nice-the balcony is fantastic! There are actually two balconies- one off the master BR and living room and the other off the two other bedrooms. There are three full baths. You do hear music from the hangout on the weekends but it wasn't too bothersome. We will rent this condo again."

  • Wonderful Place

"This is the 9th year we've stayed in one of Michael's units. We stayed in a few different ones and they have all been nice. The unit we had this year was tastefully and comfortably furnished and very clean. This particular unit had a queen bed in each of the two bedrooms so would be better for 2 couples or a small family. Having 2 full bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs was nice. The small size of the complex and the horseshoe shape facing the beach make it seem private and the communal pool and grounds in the center are kept beautifully. With an view of the gulf from both bedrooms, the living room AND the kitchen Plus a small balcony with seating off the Living room AND one off of the Master bedroom upstairs you really benefit from being so close to the beach. I highly recommend any of the units that Michael handles here and we especially like #35. While we are here we eat out some but also enjoy grilling downstairs. Every morning I walk on the beach and my husband rides his bike down West Beach Blvd for exercise. We've been coming so long that's it's the outdoors and the food we enjoy most but there are plenty of things to do and see close by."
