  • Great vacation despite a few hiccups

"Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've stayed at Phoenix 4 several times. I know it's older and that doesn't bother me. Every year the elevators break down and we have to take the stairs, which wasn't as bad as it could've been since we were only on the 5th floor. The room was updated and decorated nicely. Upon arrival, our keys didn't work. I had to make several phone calls and trips to Phoenix 3 next door to have someone help us get into the room. The problem appeared to be dead batteries in the lock mechanism. When you just drove 12 hours and unloaded your car, standing outside your room for 20 min isn't fun, but things happen. As soon as we were inside we tried to open the sliding door to the deck. Well that was a problem, too. The door was off it's track and the whole frame broke away from the glass. It wouldn't open or close. I was told multiple times someone was on the way to fix it but no one came. We ended up having to sleep with the door open about 6 inches. Eventually after many phone calls, someone did come to fix it. We were told it had been fixed so many times that it really just needed to be replaced which would take all day. So I just told the man to get it closed and we would use the other door. Overall I was pleased with the room and the fact that the beach and pool were never crowded. I am disappointed that I had to make so many phone calls to ALBVR. Most of the problems we had could've been prevented by proper maintenance by the owner and POA. All in all I would stay there again. They also tried to charge me $25 for missing keys which I'm sure was related to the door problem and the master having to be recarded twice. But a phone call to ALBVR cleared that up."

"Yes--you will love your condo! You will have everything you need. You have a great view! Easy to get to the beach/pool. Condo has a great stocked kitchen, lots of hooks to hang towels, fun gameboards, great sized rooms and the main living/kitchen area is very spacious and comfortable. Updates are great. Multiple pools and game room and racketball courts and exercise facilty! Very clean. If you are headed to Orange Beach you will want to stay in this condo! We did not want to leave!!!"

  • Amazing Stay and Location

"If you are looking for a top quality condo, with modern features, in the best location, this is the place to stay! My daughter and I came down for a late fall Mother/Daughter weekend and couldn't believe how nice everything was. We have already recommended 1205 to all of our friends and are already planning our next stay in the spring."
