  • Super comfortable cabin, so relaxing!

"This is our 2nd time to rent this super comfortable and relaxing cabin. Ron and Cindy, the cabin owners, live next door and are very nice and gracious hosts. They give you privacy but are there if you need something. The cabin sits on a small hill about 50' from the water's edge of a small lake. The view from the lake with mountains in the background is just beautiful. The queen size bed is very comfortable and my wife and I slept like babies in it. The kitchen is small but is well stocked. We fixed some nice salmon in the oven and breakfast and the stove worked great. The cabin is located a 30 minute drive from Hatcher Pass, which is a must visit with beautiful views and great hiking trails. We highly recommend this cabin and would not hesitate to stay here again."

  • Great location, beautiful setting

"This was our second time staying here. We love the location on the river and it's close to everything in Fairbanks... Hope to stay again next year. Great house !"

  • Great property, great location, overall great experience for first ever trip to Alaska!

"The property was even better than described in the listing description. Very clean and well maintained. The owners were awesome! We knew we were going to have a very late arrival, so they were so kind to leave some breakfast goodies for us in the refrigerator. And they were very helpful in offering suggestions for activities. The cabin and property overall was immaculate. The Wasilla location is great, as we were able to see many great sites within a few hour's drive - from Denali (to the north) to the Portage Glacier in the Chugach National forest (south of Anchorage), and many places in between. I would highly recommend this property for both the ideal location and wonderful hospitality shown by the owners. Be sure to bring a good camera, as the scenery is spectacular (and a smartphone camera just can't capture the detail)!"

  • Very comfortable and affordable anchorage getaway

"Treva and gary were very low maintenance and gracious hosts. The price was very reasonable and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The pet friendly policy was greatly appreciated for our well behavied canine."
