  • Comfortable and beautiful property - you will not want to leave!

"Lisa and Randy's property in Templeton was so comfortable that we hardly wanted to leave. We chose to stay there because it was centrally located among wineries and near beautiful coastal hikes and beach towns, which I am glad we experienced. But it was equally enjoyable to sit on the ample outdoor furniture at the cottage and watch the sunset. The house is well-equipped with all the basics (and more) to make most local activities (or staying still) totally accessible. It was a great place for a weekend getaway!"

  • Beautiful property for a wedding!

"We recently held our wedding at Dancing Deer and we couldn't have been happier. It was very convenient to have the majority of our guests stay on the property and it really made it a great weekend rather than just a day. Maria and her staff were very accommodating of our requests for information before the event and for delivery of furniture (e.g., chairs for the ceremony and rehearsal dinner) as needed throughout the weekend. We held our ceremony at the outdoor amphitheater and I'm so glad we did because it was so pretty that we didn't really need to decorate a lot. Everyone really loved the deer that ran across the fields during the ceremony too. Great choice for a small wedding (we had a little over 50)!"

  • This place is just awesome. Period.

"A beautiful and relaxing place to get away. It is in a perfect location if you're wine tasting and has an awesome landscape to enjoy while winding down from the day's adventures. Joe is a real down-to-earth, super friendly guy. The facility he is about to open to the public is going to be very cool!"

  • Exactly What We Were Looking For

"We met some friends from England here for some rest and relaxation. That is exactly what we got. Will Woolley was a gracious host. He made us feel very welcome. The house was perfect for this type of getaway. It's not luxurious, but very comfortable. We were very pleased with it. I really like the fact he had a charcoal grill in addition to gas (as a competition grill man, I abhor gas). There is somewhat of a drive if you want to go to places of interest in the area. But hey, we didn't go here for urban convenience. No wifi. But it's good to unplug from time to time. We would definitely visit here again. I highly recommend it to others."
