  • Family Friendly and Fun!

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Julie's cabin in Bass Lake. The cabin worked well for four families with young kids. The cabin's close proximity to the lake, the store and boat rentals made for an easy and memorable weekend. Most of all, we appreciated the owner's hospitality. She made herself readily available to answer questions and assist with our needs while we stayed in the cabin. Additionally, she found some clothing that we left behind and shipped it home to us. We look forward to our next stay at this cabin!"

  • Lovely Home

"We had a wonderful family vacation in this home. The kitchen was very well equipped. We had a large # of grandkids with us and the had plenty of room to play and sleep. The AC in the master bedroom was a real plus. There are a lot of stairs but we needed the exercise after enjoying so many great meals! The dock was very nice and the bay was wonderful for swimming. We would definitely recommend this property for a large family."

  • Very unique and cozy place to stay

"A great place to stay, if you want to be close to the South entrance of Yosemite, I plan to return again, if I have a large group. Mark and his dog Skyler made us welcome and we felt at home immediately. The property is mix of old and new, built in 1920's and renovated , the bedrooms have a rustic feel and the bathrooms are modern, all with showers. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking & serving utensils. All bedrooms have a double bed and there are futons in the front/side patio and the lounge. So it can easily accommodate 16 or more. It did get a bit hot in couple of the bedrooms during the hot days, but the lounge has powerful AC to keep you cool. Mark is very easy going, and his dog Skyler is very friendly!"

  • The perfect log Cabin for that mountain get away!

"My family has stayed at this cabin for 8 years running now. We are in love with this log cabin and the surrounding area. It sits at the back of a cul de sac and is surrounded by big beautiful trees. We spend sunny afternoons on the large deck nestled in these trees. Then at night, it has become a tradition to have a bon fire in the front area which has been set up with twinkle lights and chairs. Smores and family games are a must. We always reserve at least one day for skiing at Badger Pass, the perfect family ski area. The cabin sleeps everyone so easily and the gorgeous brick floors are so functional and compliment the log and chink walls. The kitchen has everything you would need with a large dining room table that fits everyone. The red, white and blue Americana charm just completes the package. I never hesitate to recommend this rental to friends who want to spend time in or near Yosemite. Being slightly outside the park and away from the large crowds is a huge plus."
