  • Great property with lots of room for extended family members.

"Lots of family memories of this property in the 80's, really fun to reminisce and make new memories with granddaughters. Had a blast skiing on opening day at Badger Pass."

  • Had a great time, and the Adams House fit our needs perfectly.

"The layout of the Adams House worked well for our group of three adult couples. Kitchen, breakfast room and dining room worked very efficiently for our group breakfasts. Beds were comfortable. Living room is spacious. The house itself had many interesting architectural details and we enjoyed the library. Nice to find several guidebooks to the Yosemite area on the shelves, since we mislaid ours on the way out to California. This is an older house, which was far more interesting to us than a bland, cookie cutter modern room. It was clean, although as expected in a house this age, we found the usual dings and wear and tear of a century of life. The town of Mariposa is charming and we enjoyed some nice meals at good restaurants. In particular, the Savoury was good. Our main activity was touring Yosemite. You can expect a 40 min. car ride to the park over a good, scenic highway. Overall, an excellent experience and a good place to stay."

  • Cozy and comfortable hidden in the woods.

"Very nice. Not the cutest decor but it was fine. Had all the amenities we needed. Love the enclosed patio and Lil yard for the dogs. Short drive to the lake. Great time!!! Don't depend on GPS once you get into neighborhood. Makes you turn 1 street too early."

  • Large house, comfortable stay

"We are very happy for the size of the house and the owner Trudy is very friendly and easy to reach. Entering this gated community cost us about 20 minutes as there was a long queue at the gate. It is convenient to buy food from the grocery store which is a short drive from the house. The prices are actually pretty good. You don't have to bring any food. It is about 1 hour drive to Yosemite Valley. Good for us. My only complain is that I didn't find any soap and shampoo in all 3 bath room. No cooking oil too. If the owner can prepare these basic things, or at least let me know so that I can bring my own, we will feel some good hospitality. It shouldn't be a huge cost for the owner."
