  • Very unique and cozy place to stay

"A great place to stay, if you want to be close to the South entrance of Yosemite, I plan to return again, if I have a large group. Mark and his dog Skyler made us welcome and we felt at home immediately. The property is mix of old and new, built in 1920's and renovated , the bedrooms have a rustic feel and the bathrooms are modern, all with showers. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking & serving utensils. All bedrooms have a double bed and there are futons in the front/side patio and the lounge. So it can easily accommodate 16 or more. It did get a bit hot in couple of the bedrooms during the hot days, but the lounge has powerful AC to keep you cool. Mark is very easy going, and his dog Skyler is very friendly!"

  • Excellent place!!!

"We were a large group of friends who spent the new year and a couple of nights at Bass Lake at this amazing place!! The house was beautiful on the inside, with a true lodge feeling. Heather was amazing and she was super helpful with suggestions and tips. She even returned my call about a qn at 10pm on the 31st night!!! The entire group had a great time and were very comfortable for the two nights we were there. The location is great as Bass Lake is right there, with some amazing hikes and about 30 mins to the entrance of Yosemite (depending on traffic). Highly recommend!!"

  • Marcella

"We have stayed at this house twice. The owner is great to work with and very responsive. The home itself has plenty of space for our family with a great side living area, bunks and a downstairs suite. The best part of the house is the deck with an amazing view of the lake! We spend the majority of our day on the deck or in the water. It is an easy walk to Millers for burgers, rentals and any small store items. We look forward to our next stay!"

  • Favorite House!

"This is our 2nd time staying at the Cascadel Woods House and we will definitely be back! The house is perfectly situated between so many wonderful places to explore. The owners are very helpful and offer a wide array of information about where to go and what to do. The house itself it comfortable and is truly a home-away from home."
