  • Excellent Stay

"We had a great stay in this little gem located (behind the owner's home) in a very quiet neighborhood in Sherman Oaks. It is equidistant to everything there is to do in the Los Angeles area. Within walking distance to good restaurants and shopping. Owner is very friendly. Cottage was very brightly lit and immaculate. The linens were better than most hotel's (extremely appreciated!) A great stay in LA! Just be mindful of street cleaning rules; park on the wrong side, ridiculous $73 ticket!"

  • Excellent and very nice penthouse

"This place was really nice, everything we needed, like a home away from home. Roy is always available if needed, he even made sure my wife got a hairdryer. There are dishes, microwave, toaster, fridge, bathroom, towels, and the bed was very nice. Great widescreen tv with directv and DVD player with his own movies to choose from and free wifi. Very nice neighborhood, of course there was a Whole foods grocery and Shermsn Oaks Galleria right down the street and your own personal gated parking space. 2 thumbs up, would definitely come back."

  • Fabulous

"We loved coming home to our spacious place. We were a combined family of 6 ( 3 different groupings) and easily made it work. We made use of the pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts and basketball hoop and, yes, the TVs. It was wonderful to have access to our own outdoor entertainment and to be able to grill for ourselves, though the inside kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the nearby seafood market - we could walk there and experiment. Tobey, the caretaker, was a fount of information and a pleasure to share with. As we exited the plane, each individual expressed that this was the best vacation ever - much of it to do with what we called home base. I would think one of the most important things in LA is to be able to decompress upon arrival "home". Here you get this in spades. Thank you for offering this up for us."
