  • Family Friendly

"We had an absolute blast. The house was clean and well put together. Completely functional and comfy. Netflix or movies are the television options but we just blue toothed to the sound bar and listened to music the whole four nights we were there. Beautiful, amazing ocean scenery. Elizabeth made sure we were well set up for our stay and answered all questions in a timely manner. We are definitely staying again!!"

  • Secluded, perfect getaway

"A stunning property that allowed for a private retreat and great vacation. Waking up to that treeline view is a great way to start a vacation morning! Perfect spot for our Mendocino getaway weekend."

  • Simply outstanding!

"Being able to stay at the house my father, Ross Lawler, built in 1961 was the best trip down memory lane I've ever had! The house still has some of the sixties details that are so much fun, such as the tile in the bathrooms and the built-in cabinets in the kitchen. Fantastic upgrade to the basement into a bedroom and separate pool room "man cave." The porch was widened to make a wonderful place to hang out with family and friends, along with the patio/hot tub area below the house. Floors beautifully polished. The addition to the house I enjoyed most was the two windows in the corner of the living room. The property was super clean and had everything you could want in the kitchen for cooking for a crowd. All I can say is that I wish it were still ours. If you don't stay here, you are missing a wonderful experience. Plus, the owners, Don and Jean, were fantastic to work with; helpful and quick to respond to any questions. One of the best things also, is the view, the view, the view! The grandkids loved nearby Caspar Beach and Glass Beach in Ft. Bragg. Be sure to get the fried pickles at the Sea Valley Cafe in Ft. Bragg! Thank you, Don and Jean, for a really special trip. It meant a lot to me."

  • Amazing Wedding venue!

"We were lucky enough to have our wedding at Spring Ranch this May. It was the ideal location to have all of our wedding festivities. We had the whole property for the weekend, including the Victorian house, the Honeymoon suite and the event barn. It was all wonderful. The house held our family and friends perfectly - we had 8 adults and 2 kids sleeping there. It had everything they needed for a comfortable stay, and more. The Honeymoon suite was also incredibly lovely. Very comfortable and cozy for the couple. It was also an ideal spot for the bride to get ready. Again, had everything that we need and lots of little touches that contributed greatly to our weekend. The event barn was also perfect. It was really easy to work with the owners, our event planner and the rental company to make sure that everything was set and ready to go for the big days (we held our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all on the property). It was beautiful, comfortable and fun. Being able to bring lots of our own decorations and alcohol was also a huge plus, and saved us a good deal of money. We would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a wedding venue. We found it was a great combination of natural beauty, comfort, and convenience. The owners are great to work with. And many of guests told us ours was one of the best weddings they had ever been to!"
