  • Perfect family Christmas Vacation in Beautiful San Diego in a Gorgeous Home!

"We spent Christmas Vacation in San Diego in this gorgeous home with our children & grandmother & it was absolutely wonderful. We walked in & the ambience was great, clean, smelt good & the maintenance gentleman was so friendly, helpful & efficient if we needed anything. A few blocks from the ocean, location great to all surrounding areas. The property was well maintained, plants & trees beautiful, the hot tub a dream for relaxing & the outdoor fire place perfect for relaxing with wine & watching the kid's make s'mores. The entire inside of the home from the moment you walk in & in every room is beautiful. We look forward to our next stay! Highly recommended for couples, family for relaxation, vacation or just a get away!"

  • Wonderful property, great for a family get-away.

"What a wonderful place to stay. We came here from Seattle as a family Christmas present. I can't say enough good things. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we really enjoyed this condo. The location was close to everything (15 min Balboa Park, 20 min San Diego Airport, 1hr 15 min to Temecula), across the street from the ocean, cafe's, 5 min drive to major grocery store - really perfectly situated. There were four adults and an active 18 month old. The kitchen was well stocked with basic staples in the pantry. The outside deck let us put the baby down for his nap and enjoy conversation (with wine and beer - we were on vacation after all) where we could still hear him if he cried. There was a baby gate to prevent him from falling down stairs, we might have used another one from upstairs to downstairs, but it all worked out spectacularly. Soooo much better than any hotel. Having a place you feel safe, even at night is so wonderful. The crashing waves, friendly dive bars, a great coffee/breakfast restaurant across the street. If there was a way to give this place a 6 star review, I'd do it!!"

  • A Perfect Oceanfront Getaway - Spacious, Private, Uncrowded and the Ocean's Edge!

"Ahhhh! What a lovely vacation home. If you want to be off the beaten path, this location is perfect. Unlike the busy lifestyle of Mission Beach, this spacious condo on Imperial Beach is peaceful. The photos accurately depict the ground floor property - and oceanfront location. This comfortable condo rests right at the beach's edge, with a low rock border (to shield the property from waves at high tide) so you get a nearly unobstructed view of the ocean. 2 small patios off the living room and master bedroom are perfect for a morning cup of coffee, and an evening glass of wine while enjoying the sunset. Take in the sounds of the ocean when you open the sliding glass doors! Sleep to the sound of the ocean from the master bedroom or living room sleeper sofa. (If you prefer quiet, there is a bedroom on the opposite side of the condo - away from the ocean.) Bring a blanket and relax on the beach - just steps from the patio, and enjoy the view of a few surfers, pelicans, and dolphins! We saw several dolphins on the horizon during our stay. Stroll up the beach - to the Imperial Beach Pier for fishing, and restaurants. Driving up this coastline will lead you to Coronado Island. We chose this home for solitude and privacy and it did not disappoint. The only concern one might have, is if you plan on swimming, be aware of Imperial Beach's ocean-cleanliness signs. We are shore dwellers - strolling along the ocean's edge and knee-deep for shell hunting, so we were not concerned at all. And, it seems that the local surfers were not concerned, either. The wave breaks here are phenomenal! Inside the home, you'll find everything you need: more than enough towels and linens, and a washer and dryer with supplies. The full-size kitchen is equipped with utensils, table settings, pots and pans. The living room is open and comfy with 3 couches - and sofa-sleeper! The TV has premium channels and the electric fireplace provides a comfortable ambiance, with the option of turning off heat. 2 full bathrooms made sharing easy, and the bedrooms are comfy with queen beds. There's plenty of closet space to tuck away your luggage. Parking is convenient with 1 space right next to the unit, and plenty of parking on the street which faces the estuary. Bring your binoculars if you want to see the wildlife in the estuary! If you bring your dog, leash-walking is great on this beach as well as street-side. The host is very accommodating, communicative, and friendly. We will return!"
