  • Lovely Cottage By The Sea

"Our month's stay in the cottage was perfect. The living space, dining room and open kitchen were lovely and provided everything we needed. In the mornings we loved walking to nearby WndNSea Beach, or having coffee and reading outdoors in our sunny patio. Close to the village of La Jolla, yet quiet and secure. If we needed anything, Lisa or Adelaide were available quickly. It's been such a pleasure, we are sure to be back! Ruth"

  • Great views and awesome private deck

"Loved the views from and location of this condo. Easy access to everything along the beach, The views of the beach and sunsets were unbelievable. The private deck was the icing on the cake - quite large and gave us more privacy than other condos had outside. Love the automatic room darkening shades on all the windows and the big window from the master bedroom to the living room made the small condo feel more spacious. We had asked for early check-in, were asked to remind them a couple of days before - forgot to do so - and got it any way! Many thanks to Simone and Dominique - awesome service! Was perfect for 3 of us to watch the basketball playoffs on the comfy couch. Very soundproof inside the condos. Only had one evening of people talking late outside their condo - everyone was super friendly and made an effort to keep things quiet. Parking is limited to one tight space per condo. Had everything we needed - outdoor grill, hot tub, views, views, views. Perfect for 2 couples or a small family. Showers were great and kitchen was very nicely done. We were sad to leave and hope we can visit again next time. Went to JRDN for a fancy Easter dinner and to Draft near Belmont Park for a tasty lunch. Can't wait to come back to this specific condo."

  • Casita Enchanto - San Diego, CA Lemon Grove area

"We enjoyed our stay at the Casita Enchanto, Deborah & Jerry were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. The casita is attached to their home but completely separated by a divider wall. It has a lovely deck area and the yard will be amazing when spring/summer arrives. We visited in mid January and hit the week of rain that deluged San Diego for about 6 days. Deborah supplied us with a couple of umbrellas, not usually required in San Diego is what everyone told us. We were confined to the casita for 3 of our days because of heavy rains and flash floods, but managed to watch some TV which has many channels to choose from. We also used their hot tub on several of the evenings and it is first class. The yard has several separate areas to enjoy the outdoors when weather permits and all are surrounded by plentiful plants and flowers. The whole back yard has shaded areas for those days you want to get out of the sun, or bright sunny areas when you want to enjoy the usual sunny weather. The deck is completely covered so you can sit out in either rain or shine. Our only negative comment would be that the bed is in need of replacement as the mattress was not good for either myself or my wife. The bedroom itself is small but has a vanity and closet that allows for your clothes to be hung or placed away during your stay. The kitchen has a stove, fridge, and all utensils you require to cook a complete meal. You also have a BBQ on one of the decks that you can use. The private label honey she supplied was excellent and a very nice touch. We arrived without any coffee for the next morning and Deborah kindly supplied us enough to get us through the evening and morning coffee requirements. All in all a very nice place and we will definitely rebook when we come to San Diego. The casita is well maintained and quite central to many of the areas you will want to visit."
