  • Best Vacation Ever

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental exceeded our expectations. There was ample space for 5 active children and 4 adults as well as close proximity to the beach which allowed freedom for everyone to enjoy. The rental company was professional and the people staffing the phone were able to address all of our concerns and complete the description of residence that may not have been completely clear online. The place was immaculate and even though we brought additional paper supplies, soaps, etc., there were adequate supplies in house so we did not have to use our own. I chose this property because I had been in a similar rental 5 years ago, which was not available. This one was much more modern with every amenity available. I did not leave to shop or eat out the entire time because I was overwhelmed by the tranquility afforded by the crashing waves and unparalleled beauty of the location."

  • Great beach house; Ground level of a building on the bay in an amazing location!

"The house definitely can fit 8 guests comfortably. There were three of us and I can't tell you enough how much comfortable room there is in this amazing house. The house is filled with tons of beach towels, beach mats/toys, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, bath towels, a stocked kitchen for anything you need to cook, grill, tons of books, movies, and even boardgames to play. It's on the ground floor of the building (note: there were many tiny ants on the tile area in the kitchen, doorway, hallway leading to the bedrooms) so it can get a bit loud but nothing too bothersome. The beds are super comfortable and gave us well rested nights. Note, the other guests in the building that are taking the elevator up and down floors can be noisy, especially super late at night because the front door of the unit is directly next to the elevator. The front door definitely needs to be replaced; there is a bit of a gap where the door should be sealed shut, so that could be the reason for the noisiness and the lock/door handle should also be replaced (it was a bit loose). Garbage truck in the area was loud & welcoming at 5:50am on Saturday, but luckily we were two hours earlier than our usual timezone, so it was for sure no big deal. The grill/patio area is incredible and we hosted a fun bbq with some friends in the area. The bay is peaceful; wonderful for morning jogs and there is a ton of activities (jetpack, kayak, paddleboard, boat rental) about a three minute walk towards the bay area. The Mission Beach area is ideal and our favorite to stay in around the SD area. Every other town is 15 minute drive away. Walking distance to PB and numerous restaurants/bars/cafes/shops/etc. everything you can possibly think of. We loved this house (the area so very much) and would rent it again. Note; There was a bit of a mixup with the management company getting us to the right address/lockbox code and it caused a bit of a panic at 10pm on a Friday night trying to get a hold of someone, but as a renter, you should just be proactive and make sure you have the information you need to ensure your stay is worry free!"

  • Friends reunion

"We had a wonderful time at this house on Coronado Island. We found everything to be as described in the listing and by other renters. The hosts were very responsive to all of our needs and made sure everything was prepared well for our visit. The fresh flowers were a nice touch! There was plenty of room for gathering down stairs, and all of the bedrooms were upstairs which provided some separation for some to sleep while others socialized. The bedrooms were all good sizes, which allowed plenty of room to spread out. The house is stocked with everything we needed for kitchen supplies, beach supplies, bikes, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again in the future!"

  • you get what you pay for.

"first time VRBO'ing a property and didn't know what to expect. it's just your normal below-average apartment in an apartment complex. there were a number of things that went wrong with the reservation seeing as we booked a 3 bedroom which suffered an unfortunate case of water damage. the comped 2 bedroom and roller bed was a last resort and we still had a number of things that didn't got right with the rental. overall the accommodations were acceptable for what we paid, but below what we were expecting. don't know if we will be using VRBO in this area again."
