  • Beautiful Cabin

"We stayed in this cabin just after Christmas. We have six grown kids, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The cabin is very clean, roomy, and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything to make the stay more enjoyable. It even has a small crockpot! The heaters worked very well, as did the hot water heater, which added to our comfort. The location was perfect! The river is right out the back door with a fantastic fishing hole. We grilled one night on the large deck, and the grill worked great. The internet and the cable also worked well. Mike was such an excellent host, and thought of everything! We highly recommend this cabin! Our kids all had a wonderful time. We will treasure the memories always! Thank you, Mike for sharing your amazing cabin with us."

  • Super pet friendly!

"If you are like me, my dogs are part of my family. It is hard to find such a wonderful place that appreciates pets! There is a nice sized totally fenced yard to keep your pets safe. From the moment we walked in, we absolutely LOVED the home! June had the heat on for us (it was about 25 degrees outside!) Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own bath. The kitchen is HUGE and has everything you need - from pots and pans to a large number of spices. It was nice to be able to find anything you needed. There is also a wood stove and this owner supplies the wood for you! If you stand on the front porch, you'll see the majestic Mt. Shasta staring right back at you. It's so close, you think you could touch it. Just about 4.5 miles down the road you'll find the ski park and the cross country/snowshoeing area. The town of McCloud is adorable with its cool shops and historical buildings. About 9 miles up the road are the McCloud Falls which are absolutely beautiful. Lots of other attractions nearby as well - Lake Siskiyou, Mt. Shasta, golfing and world class fishing. The owner, Mimi, is fantastic to work with. She is very prompt with her replies to your email. You will not be disappointed, guaranteed. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this home a 20!"

  • Nice cozy cabin with beautiful mountain views

"We were 6 adults that had a very quiet and pleasant in the cabin for 2 nights during Christmas. The space was nice and clean with all basic amenities and a fully functional kitchen. The heaters kept the rooms warm on cold snowy days. And the views of Mount Shasta from the living room were beautiful. The town and the Everitt Memorial Highway that leads up to the mountain are only a short distance away. I would recommend this place for a tranquil stay close to the mountain."
