  • Perfect family vacation!

"After being in San Francisco for 4 days, coming to Napa was the perfect way to finish our trip in CA. With our 3 adult daughters and son-in-law, this was the first time we had all taken a trip together for a few years. Kiky and Michael were the perfect hosts, offering a wonderful property with stunning views! The house was everything we expected, so much so that although we had reservations on 2 nights to wonderful restaurants, we decided to stay in and cook! The grill on the deck allowed us to prepare meals so we could enjoy the unbelievable views of the vineyard with sunsets that are unlike no other! Michael's tour of the winery was extremely generous and he spent a great deal of time with us explaining their winemaking. Kiky was so complete in providing all the information we needed about directions and other information about the house, always responding quickly. As our family all like to be outdoors, every morning we walked up the mountain road and explored Atlas Peak. The property is high up the mountain, taking some time to drive, but it is completely worth it when you arrive. After full days in Napa and Sonoma, we were excited to spend our evenings at the house. We highly recommend this property to others and can't wait to visit again!"

  • Perfect Napa Getaway

"We had 3 couples and everyone had their own space. The house is very charming and equipped with everything you could need. We made breakfast before heading out (grocery close by). Owner was tremendous and very easy to work with. The location of the home is in the heart of town and close to many vineyards. Close enough to walk to dinner. We enjoyed the outdoor patio after a long day at the vineyards. It felt like home and fun to be with friends. We would come back in a heartbeat!!"

  • Great Location, Amenities and Hosts

"My family, friends and I were very grateful to have had the absolute privilege of staying at this beautiful property during Napa's harvest season. The outdoor kitchen and dining area allowed us to enjoy amazing meals at home while nestled in the middle of 10 acres of vinyard and overlooking St. Helena Mountain. This was of course when we didn't indulge in one of the many 5 star restaurants just minutes away. We also made great use of the pool, hot tub, volley ball nets and tennis courts which were all impeccably maintained. Dan the property manager made us feel welcome and was very attentive to our group. He even let us try some of their fresh pressed virgin olive oil from their many olive trees on site - Thank you Dan. And Scott, the owner made the reservation process seamless and helped us with local suggestions - Thank you Scott . Also, the fact that there were multiple guest houses gave us the opportunity to spread out which was great as we all enjoyed some private time even though we were part of a larger group. Most importantly, however when we first booked this home, I was unfamiliar with Calistoga and thought we would have to travel a bit further to get to the many Napa Vinyards and to my pleasant surprise we were very close to everything worth seeing and the drive to anywhere we went was spectacular with winding roads and beautiful scenery. The town was also quaint and fun to explore. I will definitely endeavor to be back again. All in all, this was a 5 star experience and thank you again to the team at this beautiful estate."

  • Wonderful weekend above the clouds!

"Everything was wonderful at this amazing location. The people involved from the owner to the person who checked us in and out were marvelous. The location was beyond words - sincerely above the clouds. Each morning the valley below is carpeted in a shroud of fog clouds with nothing but pure clear skies above and the tops of the mountains popping out - such a view! Wake up early and see the horizon turn orange as the sun approaches from the east and then see Mr. Sunshine pop up over the top - what an experience, do it! The property is huge and way up top of Spring Mountain. The drive up initially is daunting, but it is no big deal after the first time (just expect a 15 minute drive from St. Helena up to the property). You pass vineyards and lovely forest on the way, so it is beautiful. Now to the property itself. The grounds are simply amazing - on the edge of a vineyard, fantastic plant life and of course so many views. The pool area is amazing and great to spend time (if we only had it - I suggest if the weather is good to plan a few hours relaxing there). The home is HUGE and decorated to the hilt with art. To some it may be a bit much, but regardless of your decorating taste you have to appreciate the effort put in to this place. Bedrooms and baths are large and comfortable. We needed all 4 bedrooms for my family and everyone felt comfortable and had their own privacy and bath. The common areas are also so comfortable. The kitchen is a country kitchen and we did cook in one night and had dinner out on the porch which was fabulous. It helped avoid having to drive back up from dinner in the dark, which on evening #1 was kind of challenging but doable. Great place for a large family (like ours) or a group of couples to spend time - totally central to all wine areas in the valley. We did 2 per day which is plenty."
