  • Charming

"Stayed for 4 days over Labor Day weekend. Enjoyed our stay very much. Hacienda is quirky and charming. Peaceful , rural setting. No exageration about the wildlife. Would definitely book again"

  • Calistoga Wayside Inn

"My family and I, ranging in ages from 65 to 2, recently stayed at the Wayside Inn. We had to book on short notice but the owners were extremely helpful and cooperative in making the arrangements, and wonderful to work with. Even adding a day at the beginning of our stay at the last moment was no problem. The Inn is absolutely beautiful! The bedrooms are well appointed and private, and the common areas are perfect for family. The kitchen has everything you might need. Situated in a patch of old growth forest, the outside grounds are perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the scenery. The Inn is centrally located and just a short walk to downtown Calistoga. It is also situated perfectly for wine tasting and access to all of the Napa Valley. I would highly recommend the Wayside Inn to anyone traveling to the Napa Valley. I most definitely will be back to the Wayside Inn."

  • Better than you can imagine!

"In more than 20 years visiting Napa Valley, we have never enjoyed this level of luxury. The estate was over the top in every way - the accommodations were beyond words, the views were amazing, and the hospitality and responsiveness of the owner/manager was great. Although we hated to leave the property, we enjoyed its proximity to many of the best wineries in the valley. Highly, highly recommended!"

  • Perfect for our group

"We were in town for my daughter's wedding and The Chelsea Garden Inn was perfect for our group of ten. From the start, Susan the owner, was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The Inn caretaker Jennifer was very sweet and helpful too. The photos do not do the place justice, it is much bigger than they portray. We felt completely at home there and had plenty of room for our group. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you'd need to make yourself comfortable - coffee maker, dishes, etc. The social room was perfect for us to gather and hangout. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind after busy days filled with activities. We loved the fact that we were so close to town, the grocery store is two short blocks away. It was convenient to be that close to the restaurants and shops too. We stayed for four night and didn't want to leave! We LOVED the pool area, another place to gather and settle back with a cold beverage. We used the pool a lot because it was very hot when we we there. The outdoor area is roomy with many loungers and seats and we enjoyed the whimsical decor and gardens. Each suite was perfect for our guests, we had privacy when we wanted it and could socialize when we wanted. This setting was perfect for us. As the Mother the Bride, nerves were on edge but the comfort of The Chelsea Garden Inn made the trip much more enjoyable. Thank you for helping me make this major life event less stressful because of your wonderful Inn. I want to come back next year!!"
