  • Top of the World - Best Place to Stay

"Here are 10 reasons why Moose Mountain Lodge is the best place to stay in America (much less Estes Park): 1. Views - spectacular from the house, the hot tub and area around the cabin. 2. Ambiance - warm, cozy, comfy and cabin feeling. A beautiful home - just want you want when on vacation. 3. Wildlife - If you want to watch herds of elk and deer from the front window, this is the place to go. 4. Hot tub - clean, warm with unbelievable views. Great to use after snow shoeing in the park. 5. Furnishings - stainless steel appliances, full set of cookware, dishes, glasses and utensils. 6. Cleanliness - flooring, bathrooms, showers, tubs, sinks, hot tub - sparkling clean. 7. Great room - fireplace to stay warm on a cold winter night; leather reclining sofas; large window wall for spectacular views of the mountains and wildlife. 8. The beds - very comfortable with quality bedding. 9. Serenity - very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. 10 Proximity - close to the national park, restaurants, grocery store and shopping. Our only complaint is that we could not stay longer. We will definitely be back. This is not only a great place to stay but an experience!"

  • Great home away from home

"We rented this "apartment" (entire first floor of house) for an entire week. It was the perfect size for a family of 4! It was so well furnished, owners thought of many little extras like an abundance of dishes and glasses, sugar and spices in the pantry, and butter in the fridge. We were able to cook breakfast in the mornings and even used the grill one evening. Thought we would use the bikes but sadly never did. The beds were super comfy, sheets and towels top quality. Location was wonderful: made day trips into Denver and up to Estes Park, hiked the flatirons of Chautauqua Park and went into Left Hand Canyon. Had dinner up at Gold Hill Inn...check out their website! The only downsides (which we knew going in) were that it had one bathroom and no air conditioning (sadly Boulder had a heat wave the week we were there). Owners are great communicators, answered all questions we had. I would gladly stay there again as well as recommend it to friends."

"What a retreat. Utterly breathtaking views from any window. Heated floors! Oh heaven. Top of the line appliances. Spacious home. Level driveway (really important when you have a rental brought in from California! Really Alamo?) Drive was plowed two times during our stay. Hot tub: clean and hot. Rules clearly stated and reasonable. Clean with plenty of linens. I recommend a winter trip to Estes Park and this home. No crowds, snowfall kept us "snowed in" for two days. We really weren't snowed in, but it was just so restful to watch the snow, play games, cook and sit by the fire. There was nothing we needed to go out for. Pure heaven."

  • couldn't' have asked for more

"NIcki's North Boulder home was PERFECT! VERY clean and comfortably furnished. Two master suites worked out very nicely for our family. North Boulder was great; close enough to do Downtown activities, but then go "home" to peace and quiet while still having everything we could want close by....Good shopping and restaurants within a walk. NIcki was wonderful to work with too....renting her home made our vacation extra special."
