  • Great Experience in Georgetown, CO

"We arrived on Xmas eve and were very happy with the property. The home is well set up for a family of four with two single beds upstairs and a queen on the main floor. Cozy, clean home in very good condition and close to town. Easy walk to town even on a cold and windy night, like 5-8 minutes. Georgetown has a cute main street with various shops and restaurants. Kind of a sleepy town, which was just fine or us. After a long day of skiing we just needed a nice quiet place to relax and this home was perfect. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need. Washer and dryer on site, although we only used the dryer for wet ski clothes during our stay. Did not use the wood burning fireplace. Plenty of towels and everything you would need in terms of toiletries for the bathroom. House is about an hour from Denver airport so easily accessible. Tip, look at renting a car somewhere other than the airport. We took an Uber to an Aurora, CO Enterprise location and saved about $700 on a 5 day rental. They really jack up the prices during peak times at the airport. We went skiing at Loveland Ski Resort for 3 days which is about a 25-30 minute drive from the house. Loveland is awesome and easily the most affordable place to ski I have ever been. I have been to about 12 different ski resorts and the skiing at Loveland is as good as any of them. When you factor in the price and short/ non-existent lift lines there is really no comparison. Loveland is for skiers only, no lodging on site and really not much else to do at the mountain, which was fine for us. We bought 3 of the 4 pack lift tickets which brings your daily lift ticket price down to about $35 each. If someone knows of a better, or even comparable deal, I would love to know about it. You do have to buy the 4 packs by late November, so plan ahead. You can use them any time without restrictions. My only complaint, and I hate to even bring it up, is the tree (palm tree of some sort???) growing in the corner of the kitchen. It is huge and is taking over a good portion of the area we used to take off our gear after skiing. Without the tree, a nice eat in dining area would be available. I hate to bring it up because it probably has been in the owner's family for a long time and it would actually be pretty cool in a larger space. Overall we had a great time in CO and this house was a perfect fit for us. The owner was easy to work with and I would definitely stay here again."

  • Beautiful views and great location

"We stayed at this private and very comfortable home for 5 days in early August, 2016. The house has beautiful views from 3 different decks as well as from about every window in the cabin. The den has huge floor to ceiling windows. The house is about 5 miles from Nederland, which is a must visit."

  • Great place to stay in Boulder !

"We spent a week at Casa Kir at the beginning of September. The house was extremely comfortable for the six of us, and had every thing we needed. The backyard is really good for both relaxing and looking at the foothills, as well as entertaining. The house is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood and is only 5 minutes to Pearl St. Kirsten, the owner, was very friendly, and easy to contact whenever we had any questions with the reservation or during our stay. We all had a great time !"

  • Piece of Paradise

"We have stayed at many rental homes and we can say that this is one of the best. We spent 7 nights and it was clean and very comfortable. The home is very spacious and we loved the decor. We did many hikes in the area and afterwards it was wonderful sitting in the hot tub enjoying the peaceful surroundings. If you're not afraid of heights you should take the time to go to Deadman lookout fire tower. The view is amazing. We hoped to see some moose in the area, but did not. We did see many beautiful mule deer (some big bucks in velvet) and a few coyotes. We bought birdseed and made hummingbird food and then enjoyed watching all the hummingbirds, Steller's jays, squirrels and chipmunks while sitting on the great wrap around deck. We loved our stay and we highly recommend this beautiful property for anyone looking to get away from it all."
