  • To make it simple. Parked and immediately felt at home

"We parked our car and didn't move it till we left a few days later. The town was charming and was a short walk from the house. The house made us feel immediately comfortable and at home. The views from the house were quite stunning and are even better in person. Ethan checked in with us via email and we didn't need anything after we arrived. Wished we could have stayed longer and hope to come back some day."

  • great family home for RMNP access

"With 4 kids (high school through young adult), this home allowed us to feel like we had a place of our own for the week we were in Estes Park. Great place to be near the active downtown Estes Park, but still a feeling of privacy - especially for a morning coffee on the patio gazing at the mountains or star gazing at night. Fire ban was in force so we didn't get to take advantage of the outside campfire setting, but we skipped crowds at dinner by ordering take-out (available at most restaurants) and enjoyed the meals at this cozy cabin (and tons of dinnerware to accommodate meals). Great access to east side of park (Longs Peak, Twin Sisters, Lily Lake, etc) as well as main entrance (Bear Lake, Trail Ridge Road) and easy access to downtown via Riverside drive allowing you to skip crowded streets during busy times. A Longs Peak ascent was on our to-do list, and this site was very convenient for the early morning departure. Owner was very responsive to questions (though a binder or folder with FAQs could have saved the trouble). Wifi was sufficient to accommodate 5 or 6 active users (and we never turned on the TV!) Driveway is a little steep at the entrance so be sure to have a little momentum when turning in. Some furniture is a bit worn, but all was functioning and clean. Would definitely rent again when we return to the area."

  • Outstanding and Best Place to stay in Estes Park!

"This location is a home away from home! My family had a reunion to celebrate a wedding in Estes Park. This was the perfect place to have the family stay together to visit and just enjoy each other surrounded by beautiful scenery. Lee and Molly are fantastic people and outstanding hosts. We will return for sure and highly recommend this location for your next vacation. Thank you Lee and Molly!!!! Keep up the great work you are doing !!!!"

  • amazing view at an amazing price- October 2016

"the view - All 3 decks face the river. The glassed in deck is always warmer than the outside temp. There is no better place to be--sip your coffee on one of the decks with zero guilt that you've come all that way and you are not in RMNP every single minute because here's part of the beauty you came for!!! You can hear the river from the upstairs bedroom. If you have kids, no worries, river is super shallow. Bathroom and kitchen are very updated and convenient. Kitchen is well stocked and very large for a cabin. Bathroom - More than enough hotel quality towels and washcloths for a large family. Common question- Wifi - wifi worked great while we were there checkin- You can arrive as late as you want--you'll get a code to the door. parking- we backed our car up basically to the back deck railing and faced it towards the road. I'm trying to think of general questions that were not answered in these reviews. I loved the cabin. It's about 12 minutes to the RMNP Beaver Meadows Entrance. We had a Christmas in October there, so wonderful. Temps ranged 35 - 75 degrees, so I was thankful cabin has central heat AND ac! Super minor issues- downstairs bed is saggy, all cookware is scratched up teflon, narrow stairs leading to upstairs bedroom"
