  • Such a great experience

"Everything about our stay was right. The location is amazing - 200m away from the Vail Cascade resort where you can use all the amenities. For lazy people there is even a shuttle (not sure why you would use it to be honest as it is so close!). Jim, the owner, is great to deal with, obviously cares a lot about his property and is very responsive. Vail Cascade also has a ski rental shop where you can get your gear and store it overnight.....and a chairlift that departs 3m away from where you put your skis on.... luxury! The apartment is great, well thought and spacious. We had a party of 7 and everyone loved it. The duplex style is really cool, there are 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a sleeping area upstairs. The kitchen is well designed, the living room spacious...basically there is nothing else we would have wished for. The condo has a heated swimming pool and a hot spa that we used every day after skiing...did not even need to go and use the one at Vail Cascade. Really a great find and I hope I will get to use it again. Made our time there truly enjoyable! Thanks"

  • Perfect Mountain Retreat

"This is a beautiful cabin home right on Gore Creek with nice view of a mountain slope as well. Huge deck on creak with great large hot tub and nice barbecue. The home is perfect space for a family or group of friends. The house has large windows facing the creek with comfy couch for morning reading. Open the window and hear the creek while drinking your coffee! The kitchen was very well stocked and nice space for preparing meals. We only went out to dinner one night and ate at the house the rest of the time - it was too nice at "home". If you do want to go out you can walk to the free Vail shuttle which makes it easy to get into town or beyond (trailheads etc.) Summer in the mountains is beautiful! We hiked a couple of days and also spend some time in Vail on the 4th for the fireworks. A couple of nights were cool enough to build a cozy fire in the fireplace in the cabin house. This was a great space and we look forward to renting it again. Highly recommend it!"

  • Great Vail Ski House for large group

"We have been fortunate to be able to take our extended family, mostly all young adults and their parents [around 10] spring-break skiing in Vail for several years now. The Tobias house was well-maintained, with lovely bedrooms and bathrooms for all, and close to the slopes--just a short ride on the free shuttle. The hot tub was also a must-have and it was the perfect end to skiing each night. We easily fixed all of our breakfasts and dinners with the more than adequate well-stocked kitchen. The master bath's steam shower was also enjoyed by all. Scott was an excellent host, but we had no needs that were unmet during our 5 night stay. I would highly recommend the Tobias home."

  • You will love the location!

"West Vail is a great part of the Vail Valley. It receives lots of sunlight, and is a wonderful place to be located to take part of all that Vail has to offer. If you have looked at the pictures of this home, you will know it has a unique layout. This is its greatest asset, in that it has a wide range of nooks and crannies, with a bohemian flare. Relax in the Grecian inspired loggia before you take a sauna, or dip into the jacuzzi. Play some ping-pong after dinner! There are some terrific views of the mountains from the sunlit cupola room, a favorite of ours to enjoy our morning coffee and watch the sun rise to the east. These same mountains radiate with the evening 'alpine glow', something not to be missed! There are two gas-lit fireplaces that add extra warmth to those cold winter nights. Rent this property for its unique character and great location (grocery stores and restaurants at bottom of hill). Do not have more than the allotted two cars, you will get a ticket if you park in the street, even for a brief period of time. If you are skiers, we park for free at the Bear lot in Beaver Creek and take their free bus to the lift."
