  • Amazing! Perfect!

"I'll be honest, at first we were not really looking to be so far out from Buena Vista. A lot of other stuff was booked, but this house looked nice. Let me just say that our stay was amazing. The house is so adorable, and perfect for Colorado. The view from the deck is perfect. Although you are a bit of a drive from Buena Vista/Salida (which they will tell you up front), it is well worth it. It is so peaceful out here, and there are so many adventures to go on nearby. There are TONS of trails, jeep trails, hiking. There are two cemeteries not far from the home that are very interesting, and neat to see. St. Elmo/Tin Cup pass is so close by! Mt Princeton Hot Springs is down the rode. Honestly, you just need to go into town to get groceries for your stay - and you would really never have to venture into town again. We did go into town a couple times to eat, but that was our choice. That drive was really not too bad either. Their directions were concise, and the house was pretty easy to find. I absolutely LOVED this house, and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay, it made my 30th Birthday exactly what I wanted! Full of adventure, and then relaxation when we needed it! :)"

  • Family Anniversary Holiday!

"We are from Colorado and my parents lived in Nathrop for many years. We were seeking a comfortable home where we could have my parents, my husband, my brother and me all comfortably stay and enjoy time together My parents were celebrating their 50th Anniversary and my husband and I our was a perfect week! The setting could not have been more beautiful and the home more perfectly appointed. I won't be surprised if we all decide to stay in the same location during the next family adventure!"

  • LOVED it! Family friendly, great location, spacious, clean, and open. beautiful views

"We loved staying here! We had family in town over for dinner, over 24 adults and kids, and it didn't feel cramped, plenty of space for kids to play in and out. They provided everything we needed from kitchen slices, appliances to toddler toys in the cute under stairs toy closet. My kids loved(2years, 3 years) riding thier strider bikes on the quiet street out front. We walked to south main shops, coffee and gelato, and Eddyline brewery every day. Beautifully views from the back porch and relaxing front porch rocking chairs. There's a river with walking path close by, and easy walking paths to parks and others parts. The ship ladder was fine for my 3 and a half year old with adult supervision and a little practice. We definitely will come back to Emas House!"
