  • Awesome home!!!

"My sister and my family (eight total) just stayed three nights in this home so we could do a little skiing. The home was very clean and is well taken care of. We really liked being less than 5 minutes from the slopes and just a few minutes from the lovely downtown of Crested Butte. PR Property Management was always quick to respond, very helpful with our questions leading up to the trip. You will not be disappointed staying at this home. Were already talking about coming back in the summer and we will definitely look at staying here again!"

  • Where I will be retiring!

"What an amazing week during the OVERWHELMINGLY BEAUTIFUL wildflower season in a very comfortable property. First trip to Crested Butte so was slightly overwhelmed with where to stay with regards to proximity to the towns of Crested Butte and Mount Crested Butte. Although this condo is located in MCB it was very easily accessible to both. We were an easy 5 minutes walk to the lifts and action at Mountaineer Square in MCB and the free shuttle that literally runs every 20 minutes from early morning until late night makes a stop 20 yards out the back door of the condo to take you to the excellent dining and shopping on the streets of CB 3 miles away. No need to fuss with driving if you don't wish to do so. Hiking in the area is AMAZING! The amenities in the unit itself were very comfortable and home like. Kitchen was fully stocked, great resources on things to do and how to get around. Three bathrooms was a definite bonus and we could have easily accomodated 4 additional friends to our party of 4 with the ample bedding. Great water pressure too which was awesome. I even enjoyed time on the back patio, which although did not look out onto the lovely Crested Butte Mtn because this unit is on the backside, was still nice in the evenings. If I had any recommendation it would be to replace the sheets on the Queen bedding as they had some piling which can be distracting when already fussing with the sleep disturbances associated with altitude and travel. Overall a lovely experience in a well maintained and stocked unit. We will definitely be back and would stay at The Chateaux and in unit 403 again. Alenka's help in finding a perfect property to fit our needs and on very short notice led to an amazing and memorable vacation for our family!"

  • Great!

"We loved this house! It was awesome for our large group! The only thing I might offer is that they could improve their selection of utensils and kitchen ware. For example, there were no large spoons or ladles and there was no pitcher that we could use to make tea. But besides that it was wonderful. Large spacious rooms and great layout. Loved the balcony and living area."

  • Wonderful Place to enjoy Mt Crested Butte

"Our family of 7 adults stayed in the Maison Carsten property over Spring Break. We enjoyed every minute and hope to return. Very comfortable and plenty of room for all. Loved the roaring fireplace in the family room. Enjoyed the movie room and outdoor grill. Kitchen was well appointed and everything we needed minus a whisk. The house management was very helpful. We had one skier drive us to the road adjacent Gold Link lift(just around the corner from Silver Lane) and then we all walked up the groomed hill to ski down to the lift. All in all it only took 10-15 minutes for all of us to be on our way up the mountain. Using the Homeowners trail to ski in was fun! At the road we took of our skis, walked across the street, put them back on and headed home through the snow. Very short trek. Every day an adventure! After 9 trips to Crested Butte, this is by far our favorite accommodations."
