  • Handy location near gondola #1 so we had great access to both Center of the Mt Village and Telluride

"Size of the property worked well for my husband and I. Only one full bathroom so this would be a bottleneck for more."

  • doesn't get any better than this!!

"We stayed her with our family for Spring Break...our first time to Telluride. This is home is the absolute perfect location...Mountain Village right off the slopes. It was easy to get to the Gondola and convenient for all activities. The house itself was wonderful, with tons of room, wonderful amenities, and a fully stocked kitchen. It was the perfect house for our family and we would definitely come back!!"

  • Spectacular home in a spectacular setting!!

"We actually stayed here last Fall also, but for some reason our review didn't get onto the site. We had virtually the same satisfaction this year as last. The owner, Denny, was very helpful and because of our late arrival, had stocked the kitchen with some items for our next morning's breakfast. He lives on the property and obviously takes pride in the house. With all of the large windows, the mountain views while overlooking the golf course, are breathtaking. The large upper and lower wrap around deck areas allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the natural beauty (and the putting green carpet, with practice holes, was a novel idea). The entire house is thoughtfully laid out and I think could be enjoyed by a large group or small. At night, the large central chimney with multiple gas fireplaces gave the rooms a cozy feel. The kitchen included high end appliances, 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 2 microwaves, and large separate freezer and refrigerator. Everything we wanted, and more, was there and was clean. My wife and I slept in the master suite on the main floor, which had a King bed, an attached office space to do our work (good WIFI), vaulted ceilings, large flat screen TV, a view of Mount Wilson, huge walk in closet, steam shower, Jacuzzi style tub, and 2 toilet rooms. There were 2 other King Master Suites in the lower level and 2 bedrooms and a sleeping/lounging loft on the second floor. We loved the pool table in the game room. There was also another large (50' x 12' x 12') play room with a batting/driving cage and ping pong table. There was a hot tub outside but we didn't use it. There are outdoor tennis courts 100 yards away. Because the house faces South and has the tall ceilings, the sunlight steaming in the windows and the full length row of skylights, made it very bright and cheery. There is even a full sized tree growing up the center!! North facing log homes we have stayed in were dark and depressing. We used the free Dial-A-Ride shuttle service to pick us up and take us anywhere we wanted to go. It was very convenient for those evenings when we didn't want to drink and drive or to just make a quick stop at the grocery store. In the winter it goes right to the lifts. The Gondola ride over the mountain into downtown was also very convenient. Denny has lived in Telluride for a long time and was very interesting to talk to. He knew much about the area, and it was interesting to hear his story about the building of this house."

  • Great location

"We had a great stay in this condo. We stayed here with our 4 and 7 year old kids and it was a perfect size for us. The condo is wonderful and is fully stocked with everything you need but the best feature is the location. We parked in the garage when we arrived and didn't need our vehicle again until we left to drive home. You can easily walk to the gondola, grocery store, liquor store, coffee shop, etc. Once you're on the gondola, it's just a short ride to ski school and town. The ski-in/ski-out access is excellent. It's our second stay at Trails Edge and we'll definitely return in the future."
