  • Summer in Telluride

"Telluride is truly a lovely, pet friendly town. Every household shows off its garden with beautiful flowers. There are lots of fine dining, all in walking distance. We had much fun walking on the trails by the river, strolling down the main street,. riding up/down the free gondola, etc. The Lulu City Condo is conveniently located, and is spacious with plenty room for closets. drawers, pantries, etc. Kitchen is fully equipped with quality cooking and dining tools. The lower two levels are big enough for my party of 4 adults plus two large dogs. My T-Mobile phone failed to get signals during much of our travel in the SW Colorado region, so I didn't get a chance to contact the owner on our day of arrival. We arrived very late. Not only we couldn't find our designated parking space in the garage (it's already occupied), we were beyond shock after we unlocked and entered the unit (the prior renters left the home in an unkempt and chaotic condition and the unit was not cleaned before our arrival). The owner answered my late hour panic call, and apologized to the situation. He stayed on the line to help me unlock owner's closet, so to retrieve a few mismatched linens to help us sleep through the night. The cleaning lady was sent in after we finished breakfast next morning. She did a great job to turn the rental unit to a beautiful vacation home, and we got to enjoy the rest of our stay. Owner was super responsive to all my questions and concerns, and he kindly refunded us one night's rent and cleaning charge. I would recommend this rental property to future guests, but do call to confirm your arrival to avoid what we experienced the first night."

  • Great location

"Great location and nice if you have a car because you have a parking place. It's nice sized room but the decor is a bit drabby. Kitchen is great and functional. No stairs to climb to get to the room. Wifi was pitiful but the library wifi is 20ft away and works great. Windows are right on the street so I had to keep shades up for privacy which also precluded letting the sunshine in etc."

  • An awesome little spot!

"A perfect spot for my friend and I to share for a wedding weekend. The pullout couch was comfy and the upstairs loft was just the perfect amount of my own space. It is small, but Telluride is not about sitting inside anyways! The kitchen and all the amenities were great! Such easy access to town and it was a quiet little neighborhood (minus the construction work - but that wasn't too annoying). Hildy was great - made it easy to just show up and have the place as ours. I recommend it for any couple or two folks visiting the area!"

  • Incredible Views!

"My husband and I chose Alpenglow Ranch based on the pictures showing the mountain views. We were stunned and amazed when we arrived-the setting and the views are even more beautiful than pictured. John met us and showed us around this beautiful home, explaining how things worked. He made us feel so welcomed! We stayed for five weeks and got to witness an incredible fall color display from the large, expansive living room windows. Every room in the house had wonderful views. The home is about 20-25 minutes from Telluride and is a lovely drive. John gave us good advice on enjoying the surrounding area attractions-we had a great time! If you love golfing, fly fishing, cultural entertainment, and beautiful scenery, this place is for you! The home was very comfortable and well built-no drafts (heated floors throughout). The galley kitchen is open to the living/dining area and has a complete stock of dishes, silverware, glasses and cookware. The three bedrooms had comfortable beds and great views. Both bathrooms have showers; the master also has an antique claw bathtub. The master bedroom and bath are at one end of the house; the other two bedrooms and bath are at the other. Very quiet except for hearing the coyotes and elk occasionally. Mule deer in the front or side yard, sometimes in the morning or sometimes in the late afternoon. If you enjoy living in an area with expansive views of Wilson Peak and the surrounding mountains, then this place is for you! Pam W."
