  • Wonderful Island Getaway Less than 2 Hours from NYC

"My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at Tracy's beautiful home on the Thimble Islands, and we found Tracy to be a great, accommodating host. Located on Governor's Island, the home is nestled amongst a tight-knit community of cottages, and a stone's throw from the water. Just a 5 minute boat ride from the harbor in Branford, It is a beautiful place to spend a weekend truly away from it all. Note that the home has been standing for at least a hundred years, so you should expect a certain level of rustic island charm. But if you don't mind these quirks you're bound to have a lovely weekend and will leave feeling a great sense of remove from the pace of modern life."

  • Gorgeous rental

"Just finished 5 nights at Riverview for my daughter's wedding at Mystic Seaport and we couldn't have asked for a better house to stay in. The house was immaculate and the descriptions were accurate. We had 4 family units staying there. One stayed in the apt over the garage and the others stayed in the main house. Plenty of bedrooms which were very large and bathrooms for everyone. We had a clambake on the property which was a huge hit. Everyone loved the house and the location right on the river. It is so convenient to downtown Mystic where the young people actually conducted a scavenger hunt at various popular places, Mystic Pizza of course, the Harp and Hound Irish pub, the drawbridge ice cream shop, many captains homes, etc. We held the rehearsal dinner at the Engine Room restaurant, an industrial decor with fantastic food and service. We had extremely warm weather but the central air kept the house cool and comfortable. The 2 kayaks and the canoe were in constant use. And the ducks with their ducklings who came up to the back yard were adorable. We couldn't resist feeding them! You will not be disappointed renting this house."

  • Lovely home, Lovely Area

"We rented this home for a week over Christmas. The home was lovely and did not feel at all like a short term rental - finishings were high-end, home was very well maintained and anything you could need/want was on hand (from kitchen supplies / utensils to books, movies and firewood). The owner was very easy to work with and always responded promptly. I wish it were a bit closer to the city so we could rent long term!"

  • Wonderful and relaxing get away!

"We absolutely loved this house! The house was clean and large, with plenty of room for our big family. The view from the porch is lovely, and the pond was fantastic for swimming, boating, and fishing. We especially loved the peace and quiet, it was incredibly relaxing. Thanks so much!"
