  • Thanksgiving Retreat

"From the moment we stepped inside, we fell in love with this quaint beach house. Even at the tail end of November, we enjoyed walks on the beach, collecting sea shells with the kids, and watching the sun set over the water (hard to do on the East coast!). And when the cool temperatures hit, we cozied up by the gas fireplace and were surrounded by beachy summer decor and relaxed comfort. I think we found a great get-away spot to come back to! Thank you Philippa for sharing your cottage with us! Wonderful memories. Hope to come again soon."

  • Family Gathering

"We stayed at this large, beautiful home for our daughter's graduation from Wesleyan. This was the perfect home for our extended family ~ close to shopping, the Hartford airport, West Hartford and only 35 minutes to campus! The home was very well equipped, especially the kitchen; there was lots of comfortable living space and wonderful outdoor space; the property was outstanding ~ located in a private area looking over a golf course. The home owners were delightful to work with!"

  • Mystic Beauty

"A few friends and I went to Connecticut for a car auction. We chose to stay in Mystic because of it's accessibility to our daily destination. Dealing with Margaret was a pleasure. She is a very nice and accommodating person. The house is located on Mason Island and the view was amazing. Everything was great and we will be staying there again in the future."

  • Well-deserved five stars

"We stayed in Gini's cottage for three weeks in March. All the reviews below are spot on. It's clean, spacious and very comfortable. Nice linens and bedding too. The kitchen is well-equipped and provides lots of room for two cooks. Located in a beautiful and quiet residential neighborhood, the cottage is a short walk into Madison and beaches. While the cottage is on the owner's property, it has a private setting surrounded by woods. The owners are not in the least intrusive unless you need something or have a question. Madison is one of my all-time favorite coastal towns. It's laid back and friendly, with a wonderful art cinema and independent book store. There's a fairly new walking trail from the town to Hammonassett State Park and beaches, which is lovely. Hope to return soon!"
