  • Great location, townhome was excellent, community amenities outstanding

"We had a great week at this property. The town home was nicer than we could have don't do it justice. The community amenities were well worth it, esp the beach shuttle. Accommodations for our group of 9 were perfect. We didn't feel crowded or cramped during our stay. Location was a plus as it was just a few doors down from the community center and overlooked two holes of bear trap black course. Additionally, beach was an easy 15min shuttle ride away."

  • Warm and Welcoming

"My family -- myself, husband and two boys (ages 13 and 16) enjoyed another wonderful week at our favorite summer vacation spot, Bethany Beach, DE. We discovered Bear Trap Dunes several years ago and have had five nice experiences at this resort community. But our experience this year was the best yet with Linda, the owner, so kind and accommodating and her home so warm and welcoming. Her home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with plenty of parking and garbage facilities nearby. Linda's decorating style is beachy chic with comfortable furnishings and a fully stocked kitchen. It was nice to have the two full bathrooms -- one for our sons to share and the master bath for my husband and me. It was the perfect size for our family of four but could also accommodate a couple of additional people on the pull-out couch. Although we spent most of our time at Delaware's National Seashore (gorgeous), when we were home we enjoyed watching movies in the cozy living room, eating breakfast on the screened in porch overlooking the golf course and spending quality family time together. I would not call Linda a landlord but more of a host or concierge -- she invites you to enjoy all that her lovely home has to offer and shares information about her favorite restaurants, shopping, and things to do in the area. A perfect place to spend a week or just a few days whether you are a family looking for some beach fun, seniors ready to explore the area or a guys or girls seeking a golf getaway. I have to say, this was the first time we were sad to leave and head home -- as we piled into the car we all said, "Can't we just stay a few more days?" I guess that says it all!!!"
