  • Super property in great location. Felt like home straight away.

"This is a very lovely villa situated on the edge of a very quiet community built around the local golf course. It has clear open space behind and to one side of it, with woodland beyond the back and golf course to the left in the distance. Very light and spacious with five bedrooms and three bathrooms, all very clean and well presented. Bedding and towels were fine. Good kitchen and living space including dvd, xbox and access to a home computer. Also a pool table and air hockey in the garage. There is a large covered swimming pool, together with spa pool at the rear with plenty of patio area which was great for family fun and relaxing in the hot weather. Nearby there is a supermarket and one or two other shops/bars/cafes and the like. Driving to the theme parks and other attractions was very straightforward and relatively close. (Approx. 20 mins drive to Disney). My family and I had a wonderful stay and found everything to be clean, good quality and fully adequate for the needs of most holidaymakers. A couple of minor points that I would make to the owner would include the lack of instructions on how to use the waste disposal unit. (Many English folk are not familiar with what can and cannot be disposed of in them, which is why we did not use it,) Also, the very large and impressive TV, sound system, dvd player and cable TV service was very difficult to figure out especially as the numerous remote controls on the coffee table bore different brand names to the actual equipment. We never fully understood the set up! The home computer with internet access was a great benefit but unfortunately the printer did not work and the villa management company did not respond to my requests for help on that, making the check in for our flights home a little more tricky. One other point I would add, but I must stress that this should not be viewed in a negative light. We are well aware that the hot and humid climate brings with it one or two local critters such as patio ants and other small bugs. They were very few in number and did not bother us in any way. I would simply say that we did not know what deterrents or sprays were best to use and there were none to be found in the villa. However, you should be in no doubt that this is a great villa and we were entirely satisfied and very grateful to the owner for its use. We will fully recommend it to all family and friends wishing to visit Orlando. Sincere thanks."

  • Clean, Stocked, Convenient, Wonderful Owners

"We stayed 5 weeks in the great house in Davenport, FL. Close to the interstate and right next door to a Publix grocery and several shops making it very convenient. We worked directly with the owner to extend our stay several times because we enjoyed this house so much. This was a great interim home for us while waiting to get into our new home. The pool was safe, clean and just large enough for our five children. Speaking of our 5 children. They loved the house. It's on a quiet street, no close neighbors to the rear so its very easy to be in the pool without feeling "stared" at. Other houses in the area are also rentals, however the neighbors across the street were super cool and easy to talk with! Overall, we just loved working with the owners and grew to really appreciate them and their vacation home. We HIGHLY recommend this vacation spot and hope to return when in need of a place to stay in Orlando."

  • Loved the Home!

"My family loved this house and we would absolutely stay here again. The house was a very well maintained property with just about everything you could imagine in it. The 5 bedrooms were all immaculate with more pillows than what we knew what to do with, bathrobes and a TV. The kitchen had every utensil you could imagine and while the appliances are starting to show their age, I had no complaints. The garbage disposal did break down while we were there, but the property managers came the next morning and fixed it, so all was well. The games room in the garage was an added bonus and my family had a great time playing ping pong. Our trip was delayed by a day because of our flight being cancelled. Neil made us an incredibly generous offer to have us stay an extra day at no charge, but we unfortunately had to decline because our return flight did not move back. The downers... there were no coffee filters provided and we didn't realize until we had already done the groceries. It's not a huge deal, but having at least a few provided would have been outstanding. The reason I gave this house a four star review, and not a 5 star review, is that when we arrived we set off the house alarm and the cops came and we are going to be charged whatever fee is associated with that. The instructions provided in the welcome package are clear as to what must be done. However, the first time you enter a home you have no clue where anything is. When we entered the house, I immediately began searching for the alarm system and thought I had found it right beside the front door. However, that was not the correct one, and by the time I realized this, the alarm had already sounded and we were too late. The alarm was located down two hallways wrapped around another wall. A map in the instructions sheets provided would have been incredibly helpful. Another downer was the wifi. The router only allowed for 4 connections at a time. We rented a 5 bedroom house because we have 7 people in my family ages 9+ and we all have devices. 4 connections at a time was extremely painful when everyone wanted to hop online after a day at the parks. Final downer was the cost of heating the pool. We went in January so the pool needed it. It would have cost us over $300 for our 10 day stay, which is absolutely not worth it. This isnt an issue for anyone going in July, but for us, it was a bit of a downer after telling the kids we'd have a pool. Overall, very happy!!"
