  • Key Colony Beach gem!

"Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teenagers) spent one week in this gorgeous home. We have stayed in KCB a couple of times before, and this house is by far the nicest! The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated, with everything you need to make it your "home away from home". Located on a nice canal, with easy access out via Vaca Cut. Beautiful sunrises from the back porch, and an easy walk to Sunset Beach for beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed cooking several meals at home and eating out on the back porch. Also ate out several times - Grassy Key Outpost, Frank's Grill, Sparky's for happy hour is a must, Fish Tales, The Island Fish Company. Visited Curly's several times for a drive-through, coffee drink pick-me-up! We rented paddleboards from Curly's. Sombrero Beach is about a 10 minute drive, with bathrooms, showers, volleyball courts, covered picnic shelters and playground. Great place at Sombrero to put in paddleboards or kayaks. Key West is any easy hour or so drive south, and you must go catch a sunset. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be back again next Christmas!"

  • Great family rental

"This home has tons of space and is very well suited to a large group. The layout was perfect for hanging out together in the evening after a day on the water. There were lots of us to feed and the kitchen/ dining areas fit us well. The hot water never ran out even though we all cleaned up around the same time, and boy, was the water hot. The tile throughout downstairs was so handy, as we commonly came in wet from the boat and didn't have to worry that we were ruining carpet. The dock and deck were very conveniently set up and allowed us to dock and clean up the boat without trouble. We didn't spend much time there during the day (we woke up, ate, and went out on the water!), but we were happy with the TV options and the tons of books left by other travelers. The house is pretty convenient to groceries, etc. The kitchen was well set up for cooking (plenty of pots and pans, cooking utensils, plates, etc), but I'd recommend planning pretty simple meals. Chest freezer in the garage was really convenient for ice and bait. Plan to bring or purchase dishwasher detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, all toiletries, and kitchen garbage bags. It's always nice to find that the home you've booked is as described - in this case it was better than we expected!"

  • Lovely Condo!!

"My Husband, Daughter and I just returned from a lovely long weekend getaway at Sweethaven South. This is a very nice condo complex right on and/or near the water with beautiful views of the gorgeous sunsets. We used the weekend to explore the Keys so this location in Marathon was perfect. The place was very clean and well supplied with most everything we needed - especially in the kitchen. We cooked a couple of our meals at the Condo and used the grill both times. Felt just like home!! We did not use the pool, but it was beautiful and nicely kept. There were plenty of towels, beach towels, and beach chairs at our disposal. We had no problems with either the cable or internet. It really was a nice vacation and will certainly think about coming back here should the opportunity arise to visit the Keys again. The owners were a great help and responded very promptly to all my emails. Thank you so much for such a nice vacation!! :)"

  • Epic Vacation

"We arrived saturday, after a long drive through Florida. As soon as we opened the gate to our beautiful retreat, I knew we had found paradise! The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and tropical. Coconut trees and palms surrounded out private pool that became our relaxing spot almost everyday! The boardwalk to the pier was like our a little nature trail that lead to the bluest waters this South Carolina girl had seen. We rented paddle boards and could just paddle right off the dock into the ocean and down quiet canals. The home was exquisite and from this designers point of view, was top notch. Just being at the house was like being in paradise. Lisa has done a wonderful job in furnishing this beautiful home. And she wants you to consider it your home while you are there. Lisa is very easy to work with and wants to make sure that you have everything you need. Checking in and out was so easy. Well, checking out was hard because you do not want to leave. The nice thing about being in Marathon is that you have great grocery stores and other shopping (walgreens etc) close by as well as wonderful restaurants. The sunsets off of seven mile bridge are way better than Mallory Square, but a day trip to Key West was definitely a highlight. We rented a boat while there for one day and I would recommend doing so if you have a person that can read the gauges for sea depth and stuff. We fortunately has a great captain in our group and saw some wonderful sites. This is a great place for a relaxing get away and we will be back and hopefully for 2 weeks next time. Mar Azule is the best!!! And Lisa is Awesome!!!"
