  • Great Owners

"We booked the house and had to cancel and the owners were great in understanding and working with us. It was above and beyond what one would expect. The experience is one to be shared as these folks are quite nice and better yet, very trustworthy."

  • Perfect Getaway

"We recently stayed in unit 9 for one week, and loved every minute of it. The park that the units are located in is very well kept, and the residents definitely show pride in ownership. The beds were comfortable, the A/C worked very well, the kitchen was fully stocked, and best of all was the outside area. The landscaping is beautiful, and the birds plentiful! So many flowers! The patio was pretty private, and each unit has it's own gas grill for bar-b-que dinners. The units feature original artwork and hand crafted furniture, which was really cool. Hans and Lisa were there on the weekend, and were friendly and accommodating. The jetty is at the end of a picturesque, tree covered path, and it was one of my favorite things about this place. You can see a bunch of fish, horseshoe crabs, and even a small shark! It's the perfect place to go at the end of the day, to watch the sunset. The pool was very clean and the water was warm. I can't say enough about this place! The only bad thing was the noseeums. Not too many mosquitos, but the noseeums ate me up. I came up with a solution that I recommend to everyone: wear long sleeves, pants, and socks at night and in the morning. I brought a very light long sleeve button up blouse, and it kept them off of me, along with leggings and footie socks with sandals. Quite the sight, I know, but the park is so quiet that nobody really saw me. :) This little precautionary measure enabled me to take walks at night to star gaze. To be fair, noseeums are a problem pretty much anywhere in the Keys. Just dress for them. If the opportunity arises again-and I'm sure it will-I will definitely stay here. Grassy Key is close enough to Marathon that you have everything you need, and far enough away to be away from the crowds. Sombrero Beach is the perfect beach-not too crowded, shallow water that is crystal clear, and lots of trees at the South end for shade."

  • Excellent Lobster Trip 2016

"What a beautiful duplex that comfortably accommodated our party of 10 for lobster mini season. The location is extremely convenient and so easy to access the water without having to deal with chaos of Vaca cut. The duplex easily accommodated our 28 foot boot for the week, with no issues to dock our boat. The houses are divided so provided privacy to all guests. We all enjoyed meeting for coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening under the house that provided a great entertaining space. There were ample amount of towels and linens. The kitchens were comfortably stocked and provided everything we needed and more. We made breakfast in the house and lots of appetizers. While we had 10 adults, this would also be a good unit to use with older kids. We had easy access by car to several of our favorite restaurants in town and just a short drive for day adventure to Key West. The owners were extremely responsive while booking, before our reservation began and even while we were enjoying our vacation. We had an absolute great time, and definitely would love to stay here again."

  • Awesome stay in the Keys!

"My family and I stayed here for 5 nights and absolutely loved it! It's centrally located and the view on the water is beautiful! There was plenty of room for everyone, and it's pretty rare to find a 4 bedroom house in the keys. The kitchen, although somewhat small, was well equipped, and it was awesome having the second refrigerator in the laundry room to store extra food and tons of fresh fish! After a long day of fishing, it was so nice to have the pool to relax in and grill some fish on the back deck. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Cynthia! -Erika"
