  • Heaven on earth!

"We have stayed in the Destin area for over twenty years. This condo topped them all. The view is amazing with large wide sliding glass doors. The unit was spotless and provided everything you might need. The bed was comfortable and had high quality linens. My husband was on crutches so we could only enjoy the beach from the distance. We initially chose this unit because of the elevator, but it provides so much more. Visit Shades bar and grill if you are a sports fan. The only negative is you could not have a golf cart as there is only one parking space per unit. We will return next year and explore more of the surrounding area."

  • Long fall weekend stay to celebrate wife's 60 birthday

"Let's start out with the good. It will look like the posted pictures. New, nicely and tastefully furnished with high quality appliances, great TV's, cable service, exceptional beds, bedding, towels, etc. The house is really well designed. Probably one of the nicest rentals I have stayed at. The bad? Nothing really I would call bad but there are some comments and considerations I would like to pass on. You can park three average size cars at the property (tight fit), but it is located on the one lane road. There is absolutely no way, even if you are creative, you could park another car on the property or anywhere on the road. As advertised, It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, but that would be a continuous brisk walk just to one of he public access boardwalks over somewhat hilly and rough terrain (on Williams street). It is farther away than you would anticipate from the pictures. Riding a bike is not a good option for there is no place to park it by the boardwalk access points. You should bring a wheeled cart to carry all the 'stuff' you would want for a day at the beach. Also, it would be long walk for small children or elderly persons. Four bikes are provided, but you need to activate the agreement on line. With the observation deck (nice) this is a four story building. It is narrow and has 10 foot ceilings (nice touch) which makes the stairs seem like one rung below a ladder! For the really young, old, or in any way physically challenged this (or any other place of similar design) may not be for you. The rental agent is very pleasant and helpful."

"Incredible location directly on the beach. Loved sitting on the balcony at night and morning to watch the sunrise and set. Unit was wonderful as well. We will definitely be back"

  • Beautiful spot in Seagrove Beach!

"The location of this property is perfect. The end unit allows a side-view window from the kitchen and bedroom; a feature that other units don't have. We also had a view of the ocean, dunes and Eastern Lake to enjoy a perfect spring sunrise. We walked and biked to Eastern Lake park, the Donut Hut and Snappy Turtle. It's just a short drive to the Publix and nearby restaurants. The decor was beautiful! Beachy but not cheesy. The deck furniture and table were sturdy and comfortable. A variety of DVDs, books, puzzles and puzzle games were a nice touch. The wifi was speedy enough for surfing, texting, and emailing. The provided linens, dishes and pots and pans were great. Eastern Lake and the pool provide a nice alternative for swimming when rough surf or rip tides keep kids out of the ocean. The condo community has an elevator and few grocery carts to help you load and unload. The 2 chairs and umbrella that were set up for us daily was an awesome amenity. My only constructive criticisms* are: > for such a large bathroom, one tiny bathmat towel didn't really do the job > only two kitchen towels were provided > a small vacuum would have been nice to be able to tackle the sand that inevitably gets brought in every day. *All of the above could be solved easily with a more accurate packing list from the property management company. Thank you for an awesome week at the beach!"
