  • wonderful october vacation

"Nice condo with second to none views. We had a great week with amazing weather, a blue heron that visited in the morning and a few dolphins. Kitchen had what we needed but suggest you bring a few basics like dish soap and trash bags. The two bathrooms were wonderful and the washer/dryer worked great. Have already booked for next year."

  • Location 5 stars! Accommodations 3 stars!

"We come to this area yearly and always get a vacation rental during our week-long trip. There were a lot of things to like about the condo and some areas that could use improvement. Overall, we would stay here again if some of our “room for improvements” were acted upon. What we liked: - The location cannot be beat. It’s in a quiet area but close enough to the busy area when you want to be touristy. - The elevator - The Eastern Lake inlet was perfect for small kids - Washer and dryer in unit - Large, unobstructed balcony w/amazing views and you can hear the ocean - When we rented, it came w/ beach chair setup for 4 (however, this is no longer included). - Adequate variety of television channels in the living room - Being on the top floor made the stay quiet (we never heard the neighbors). - Having a pool (small) on-site - What appeared to be new carpet on the stairs and in the loft - The property mgmt company called 2 days into our stay to check on us Room for Improvement/things you should know: - A better cleaning service. Some examples: there was a dirty pan in the cabinet (a pan used for cooking bacon that no one even attempted to clean), spilt coffee stains on floor, cob webs, and spills on drawers in kitchen. - This house is not kid-friendly. No highchair, pack n play, gate for stairs, etc - The bathrooms are small but functional - There is only 1 parking spot per unit and a permit is required - Parking of a SUV can be challenging (very small, awkward stalls with lots of obstructions) - A table in the living room reeks of smoke - Limited bathroom and kitchen amenities (most places we have rented give you travel size soap, shampoo, conditioner and the kitchens have been better stocked with spices and gadgets). - Bring detergent and extra toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags - No beach towels or beach toys - Bring hangers (there are not very many) - Property mgmt did not make check-in easy. I received an email saying I would get the door code before I checked in (which was a Sat.). I never received the email so I called the day before (Fri) and asked them to send it since they are closed on the weekends. On Sat., I tried the 4 letter code that was emailed to me only to find out the keypad has numbers – not letters. The woman working the afterhours line was helpful and set up a code for us that worked. We never received a code for the beach/pool so we had to get that from a neighbor."

  • A very pleasant, quiet, clean condo experience

"This condo was one of the best we have experienced as snowbirds. It was very clean, furnished as pictured on VRBO, well supplied with bedding and towels, and had ample kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, small appliances and an updated microwave and stove/oven. Another positive was the new porcelain floor, which made cleaning very easy. The condo sits slightly off hwy 30a which makes for a very quiet and relaxing environment. The bicycles were a plus and we used them often; this eliminated the need to rent bikes. Several beaches were close to the condo and within easy access via bike or auto. We visited nearly all the beaches along hwy 30a. The owners were most helpful and responsive to our occasional needs and very pleasant. They also gave us tips on visiting restaurants, parks, lakes and beaches. We would definitely consider this condo again should we visit Seagrove Beach. This review is provided solely by us, the occupants in Jan-Feb 2017."
