  • Amazing SGI Vacation Property

"Great location and very well maintained. This was definitely the cleanest VRBO property we have ever stayed in. Perfect setup for large families or multiple families. Very minor maintenance issue was resolved quickly. Would absolutely recommend this property and would consider staying there again. You can tell that the owner takes pride in caring for their property and guests."

  • Great views

"We enjoyed the beautiful ocean views! The size was prefect for our family. My two daughters shared the bedroom with two twin beds and my husband and I enjoyed the large master bedroom and bath. We also enjoyed the balcony off the master bedroom. The kitchen was prefect for the cooking that we did and dining area was good size! We love to eat out at the Blue Parrot!"

  • Beautiful home in an excellent location, with wonderful ocean views

"This was our first time visiting SGI, and we fell in love with the old town charm, and not crowded beaches that were beautiful. We were there April1-8. First off , I can't say enough about how wonderful Glenn was about responding to emails, from the time we inquired, until the time we left. He was the best manager I've ever worked with, and we only rent through VRBO, and have been for the past 15 years. He is the best! As far as the house goes, it went above expectations. It's decorated lovely, plenty of room, nice balcony furniture, plenty of extra pillows and blankets, beach towels were provided, along with a cool wagon to tote everything in back and forth to the beach. The kitchen had everything you need to cook with, as we grilled out most nights down by the pool, which might I add, the pool is much larger than the picture appears, and the furniture is very nice, plenty of space there to hang out as well. It's literally a block back from the beach and an easy walk, and the views are awesome, you can see the ocean directly from both balconies. We suggest renting bikes from Jolly Roger, we used them everyday, and you can ride them into town for an ice cream or for the kids to play on the visitors playground. Also make a point to visit the State Park, we spent our last day there, shelling and my husband fishing, also walk the trails, very peaceful and lots to see. We ate at Blue Parrott, and its a cool outside setting, although it was super windy the whole week we were there, we still enjoyed the environment and the food was excellent. Also drive back over the bridge to Eastpoint and visit Red Pirate Restaurant and Putt Putt. We went at lunchtime, and the food was excellent, and then you can putt putt right on site, and the prices on the food and the putt putt were excellent. For four of us, it was only 25.00 to play golf. We then rode into Apalachacola for the rest of the day, shopping in the old district. Lots of unique cute shops, enough to spend half a day walking around. This was our fun day out! The other days we spend back and forth from the beach to the pool. The outdoor shower is great- just takes a few minutes to warm up , but nice to wash off the sand before going into the pool or house. We did have to get leaves and little black flower things out of the pool everyday, because the wind was so bad all week, the bushes blew them in over night everyday, but it was fine, they had a pool skimmer thing there for you to use. Loved this home"
