  • Clean, well-equipped house with a beautiful view.

"I stayed here with a friend for a week. We loved the view from the Florida room and the location was convenient for visiting Sarasota, Venice and two of Florida's state parks. The kitchen was very well equipped so we even did a little entertaining. Everything was clean and comfy and Lou is very congenial."

  • Paradise

"The villa is set in a quiet neighbourhood and has one of the most picturesque back gardens in Florida. The villa is well equipped and well presented. We used the bikes to cylce the legacy trail and also used the golf clubs for a round at Calusa Lakes golf club. The large pool was also well used to cool us down after a day out. The area itself has many restaurants and eating places. We particularly like the Crow's nest down in Venice. Venice itself is a quiet town but you can amble around downtown at night. The gelato shop has really good ice cream! Sarasota and St Armands Circle are only half an hour away. The Ringling Museum in Sarasota and the Edison h House at Fort Myers are worth a visit. We also went to Myaka State Park where we went looking for 'Gators on the "worlds largest airboat" We also hired bikes and did a bit of cycling."

  • Perfect House for Our Stay at Casey Key

"I booked this house to use as a home base for a family event in the area the week of July 4th. July is hot in Florida, but the house was beyond “cool”. As reflected in all of the photos on the VRBO web site, every inch of the house has been updated and furnished with lovely and comfortable things. The beds were especially divine. We took the bikes from the garage to a nearby (5 minute bike ride) ice cream shop, and we hauled the beach umbrella and beach chairs to the – wait for it – to the beach! The sunsets at Casey Key defy words, and each morning there were manatee swimming, dolphins jumping, and turtle tracks in the sand. Casey Key is a magic place, and this house is perfect for a stay there. It is on a quiet street, minutes from the beach, and everything you could possibly need is in it. Four of us in my family occupied all three bedrooms, used every shower (including the outdoor enclosed one for de-sanding ourselves), and we watched every oversized flat screen TV. This was my first VRBO booking, and Donna made the whole process quick and painless from the first email inquiry through the contract signing. We give this gem two thumbs up!!"
