  • Paradise

"The villa is set in a quiet neighbourhood and has one of the most picturesque back gardens in Florida. The villa is well equipped and well presented. We used the bikes to cylce the legacy trail and also used the golf clubs for a round at Calusa Lakes golf club. The large pool was also well used to cool us down after a day out. The area itself has many restaurants and eating places. We particularly like the Crow's nest down in Venice. Venice itself is a quiet town but you can amble around downtown at night. The gelato shop has really good ice cream! Sarasota and St Armands Circle are only half an hour away. The Ringling Museum in Sarasota and the Edison h House at Fort Myers are worth a visit. We also went to Myaka State Park where we went looking for 'Gators on the "worlds largest airboat" We also hired bikes and did a bit of cycling."

  • Best place we've stayed at in the area

"My family visits the venice area every year and this is by far the best place we've stayed. The location is central to everything and there's amazing views from almost every room. The boat dock is great for fishing,we ate fresh fish and blue crabs every day caught right off of the dock. I usually don't feel at home on vacation but from the first night I felt comfortable and at home here and the time went by to fast. The house has everything you need for plenty of people. There were 7 of us and the house is so big you never feel crowded. Will definitely be are place to stay from here on out. The owner Bryan is very friendly and easy to work with and lives next door if there was ever an issue but I doubt there would be because the house is very well maintained. If you're looking for a great place to stay with even better views don't hesitate to stay here you won't be disappointed."

  • Great Place!

"This was our first visit to this area. The house was very clean, comfortable beds (very important). Great location. Greg, the owner, greeted us and was very helpful. Unfortunately, the day we arrived, red tide had hit the beaches. Greg gave us information on other beaches we might try, which was very helpful. He also gave us suggestions for restaurants, which were all good. The book he has prepared is very helpful for first time visitors to the area. We would also highly recommend Anita's for breakfast. Clean, comfortable, good food. We went to the Peace River Wildlife Center in Punta Gorda. It is a small rescue center. We were lucky to meet their star resident, Luna, the owl. It was a great ride and enjoyed seeing the work they do at the center. If we are lucky enough to go back to the Venice/Nokomis area, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Greg."
