  • Relaxing, family-oriented, scenic, refreshing!

"My husband, my 21 month old, and I ALL thoroughly enjoyed our stay at High Horse Lodge! The place was exactly as it was pictured, Harriet & Steve were very accommodating with a crib & 2 high chairs (even though we only needed one - we left one outside for when we ate out on the screened in porch). Our stay was very relaxing and just what we needed for a family getaway! Our daughter was in love with the goats, horses, chickens, dogs, pigs, and birds! She still talks about the goats! When we vacation, we love to relax! This was a perfect place to soak in nature, read a book, take a nap on the hammock, and just cook all our own meals in the cabin! We even brought our Chromecast & set it up w/ our own Netflix to watch in the evenings. This is a great family oriented place to go! We didn't do any hiking b/c of recent injuries, but maybe next time we visit we'll be able to adventure out more!!"

  • Beautiful Setting for a Family Reunion

"The pictures of the Bolling's property do not convey the breathtaking views. Soft music was playing when we arrived at the Cloudview Suite. I was traveling with my mother and niece and we had a blast exploring the nooks and crannies of the suite. We could have had LOTS more aunts and sisters with us... there was PLENTY of space! Each evening, we had a wonderful time sharing meals we cooked in the kitchen and planning adventures for the next day. Dave and Carol came down to visit with us on our first and again on our final night. They were the epitome of warm hospitality at its best! Carol gave us some advice about visiting a local potter which we were glad we took. We found several charming pieces and had the opportunity to meet the artist. It was a great getaway that left us filled with memories."

  • Relaxing and Fun for the Family

"We had a wonderful time at tuck-away farm. It was so peaceful and relaxing. It has everything we needed and the pool was amazing! Plenty of chairs and space around the pool to hang out. Nice playground for kids. We highly recommend booking tuck-away farm. You won't be disappointed!!"
