  • Great location, property and owner!!

"Even before arriving, we had excellent communication from the owner of the property who couldn't have been more helpful, even providing suggestions for logistics, shopping and children's activities. The local property manager was also incredibly helpful and available at all times. The property itself is perfectly maintained, had high end appliances, comfortable beds and an incredible view of the water and golf course at Pukalani. The golf course crew starts mowing and blowing around 5:30 am daily, so if you like to sleep beyond that, plan on closing the doors and windows at night and placing the A/C on. I personally don't like A/C, but it was a very good system, quiet, efficient and not blowing on your face while sleeping. The location was perfect for Kauai, centrally located and a great base of operations to access the whole island. We went to a different beach each day with never more than an hour drive and of course there are beautiful beaches very close by as well! Not to mention a great pool on the Marriott property itself. At the pool, they had a daily happy hour with food, cocktails or both and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. It was also very nice that there were gas grills on the property for guest use, each with a table/umbrella and running water. We grilled out a couple of nights and it was very nice and a great way to socialize with other guests too. All in all, we had a great time at Pukalani and can't recommend this particular property enough! We will certainly be back!! Mahalo, Ron!!"

  • Hotel feel, clean room, very windy

"This was the last property we stayed at during our honeymoon. The room was very clean and check in and check out went smoothly. It did feel just like an ordinary hotel room so in comparison to some of the other condos we stayed at it wasn't as nice but the grounds were beautiful and the pools and hot tubs on site we really enjoyed! It was very windy at this resort and I'm not sure if it was just the time we were there or if it's like that all the time but not something we were expecting. The beach is nice to walk on (except if the wind is really bad) but it looked a little scary for swimming and we didn't see anyone in the water. Overall it's a nice room and we enjoyed our stay."

  • Wonderful Stay

"My family and I had a wonderful time at this facility. The view was grand, the weather was nice and the cleanliness of the place made our stay very comfortable. The description of the unit was very accurate and the specific location of the unit was in a very quiet area. It was a short but simple walk to all of the outdoor amenities. The staff on the grounds were very courteous, helpful and responsive. One even shared his experience with the local restaurants and gave me tips on how to fish the shoreline. My family of 7 adults and one grandson (8 months) enjoyed every minute of our stay. Victor"

  • Feel at home in paradise!

"This condo greatly exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect setting for our first trip to Kauai. The condo is spacious with all the amenities you need to feel at home. The breezes through the condo are wonderful and refreshing at all times of the day. We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai every day with a beautiful ocean view and some colorful feathered friends stopping by time to time. We also took advantage of the full kitchen and the gas grill (right across the parking lot from the door) for a few home cooked meals during our stay. The location is ideal to relax by the beach or to venture out and explore the entire island. We enjoyed the convenience of the nearby waterfalls, Wailua River valley, and shops and restaurants in and around Kapaa, but it was just as convenient to head to the north, south or west side of the island for a hike or tour in the morning and be back with plenty of time to get showered and head out to dinner. On days where you don't want to get in the car you can just stroll down the serene walking/biking path along the beach that goes up to Lydgate Park which is great for swimming and snorkeling. I've recommended this condo to all my family members for their visits to Kauai and look forward to our next stay there when we return."
