  • What a wonderful week - wish it was two!

"Mahalo to John & Nancy, and to Chad for making this wonderful space available to us! The condo was all we could have hoped for, and more. Our bedroom was roomy & comfortable (and I hear the 2nd room was too), the kitchen was equipped with anything we could've wished for, and the lanai was almost the best part of all. We began each morning with a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise, followed by a walk on the beach before we began our day. If I had to pick a complaint to make this a well-rounded comment, we couldn't get the TV in the master bedroom to come on. It really was a moot point though, because between the beaches of the south shore, the scenery of the Napali Coast or the Waimea Canyon, or our travels along the north shore, we really weren't there to be sitting around watching tv. We can't wait to come back to see all the things we missed this visit, would most definitely hope to return to G-15."

  • Best bang for the buck on the island.

"The property is essentially a hotel (it is the old Hilton in fact) but each unit is owned so you can save by booking with owners instead of the main resort website. No problem catching a free shuttle to and from the airport so I did not have to rent a car for our full stay. I used the Discount Hawaii Car rental app for this stay and my last stay on the big island and would highly recommend it. Just call the resort reception when you get your luggage and they pick you up - the place is only a 5 minute drive from the airport. The kids loved the pools and the beach is very nice but I would not snorkel here due to waves. There is good snorkelling up the road at Lydgate Park, which also has this massive play structure. We also enjoyed Anini Beach for snorkelling as it has sea turtles. I thought the food on the resort is pricey for what you get but that is every hotel. The only downside is lack of kitchen. We found Olympic Cafe in Kapaa to be very good. I would stay here again or maybe at the Villas which have kitchens."

  • Paradise!

"We stayed in this condo for 14 wonderful nights, August 1st-15th. In my opinion, this is the best unit at Kaha Lani! The enormous lanai overlooking the pool and ocean was incredible. We started every morning drinking our coffee and watching the brilliant sunrise. From the large beach towels to the pool rafts and beach umbrellas, this condo had just about everything we needed to hit the beach and pool. The large cooler was also convenient for those lunches on-the-go. Lydgate Park is just a short walk away and has some pretty fabulous snorkeling. The washer and dryer is a huge perk, it sure beats using the coin operated machines. The kitchen was well appointed and there wasn't a single thing that we needed that wasn't there! There was even a crock pot that came in handy to cook meatballs while we were lounging at the beach. The grounds are kept meticulous and I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the pool was (and I am picky about community pools). There are pool lights for night swimming until 10 pm and they light tiki torches as an added bonus! So cool! There are two gas grills at the pool that are also kept super clean. The crew at this property keep things in tip top shape! The location is an absolutely perfect launching place to visit the entire island. I can't say enough great things about this condo. We have already looked to book unit 307 again over the holidays but it looks like this unit stays pretty full. I can definitely see why! Thanks to Peter for helping make this a wonderful trip for myself, my husband, 2 girls (ages 8 and 10) and my 67 yr old mother."

  • Everything you need and more!

"The apartment was equipped with everything you could need and more. From pots and pans to beach chairs and a small cooler, you will feel as though all the necessities one could ask for while on vacation are provided. The in unit washer/dryer was a major plus as we packed lighter than normal. I will definitely be back and this will be my first choice."
