  • A very memorable stay

"We really enjoyed our Kauai vacation at Pali Ke Kua 101. We had an excellent time there. The furnishings are excellent & tastefully done. It is a very cozy place with a good deal of privacy. We had a spectacular view of Hanalei Bay. Plus, it was a unique experience to see the diversity of birds there & have the Nenes approaching us in the yard. We also enjoyed use of the pool & jacuzzi nearby at the rec center."

  • Location! Location! Location!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has stunning views! The mountain and ocean views were absolutely breathtaking. I was happy to discover that the bedding and patio furniture have been updated. The WiFi and cable TV worked well. On the downside, I thought much of the decor was outdated and there was a TON of furniture squeezed into the small condo, though everything was in decent shape. The condo had a musty/mildew-y odor (I think this was due to the damp conditions, and not an issue with cleanliness). Was also surprised to learn it's common for geckos to live in Kauai homes (I saw two during my stay). Be sure to check out the beach below the condo--it's beautiful. Also, don't miss Tunnels Beach and, if you're craving a workout and beautiful views, hike to Hanakapiai Beach or the Falls."

  • Pale Ke Kua is a great property

"The location and grounds are beautiful. The condo is very nice but lacking wifi. There wasn't even a pen or piece of paper to write on even though it had a beautiful office space. Small inconvenience which can easily be remedied. Upstairs unit, when occupied is very noisy. Not necessarily the tennant's fault. The construction allows for sound to travel. And the plumbing causes the upstairs water running or toilet flushing to sound like a raging waterfall. The TV is ancient"

  • Wowza!

"Of all 3 places we stayed in Hawaii, this was our FAVORITE; myself, my husband and both daughters, ages 25 & 13 agree! This place is fabulous; comfortable, has a gorgeous view and stupendous location. The only problem? We didn't stay here every night instead of the other condos we booked (even one that was considerably more expensive). WE LOVED this place!!"
