  • Wowza!

"Of all 3 places we stayed in Hawaii, this was our FAVORITE; myself, my husband and both daughters, ages 25 & 13 agree! This place is fabulous; comfortable, has a gorgeous view and stupendous location. The only problem? We didn't stay here every night instead of the other condos we booked (even one that was considerably more expensive). WE LOVED this place!!"

  • Stunning Views, Quiet Location, Home From Home

"We have been renting in the US through VRBO for around 15 years and this condo is the best we have found. Amazing views - photos cannot even begin to show how stunning they are. Condo is a regular home from home. Everything you can think of is there. Kitchen and bathrooms are not ultra modern with designer appliances/fittings but they are fully equipped, clean and everything works and that's all you need. Very clean, well maintained and Angela is so easy and pleasant to deal with, although we had no problems or questions during our 16 night stay so really had minimal contact with her - which just shows how well operated Pali Ke Kua 218 is. Excellent beaches but swimming can be a challenge if you are not a strong swimmer. Found the beach at the St Regis worth the walk - very safe swimming and you get exercise with the 150+ steps. Added bonus is being able to use the hotel WIFI on the beach."

  • Beautiful even on a rainy day!

"My wife and I have been coming to the north shore of Kauai for over 20 years and just love PKK 224! Besides the second bedroom on the upper units, both the lower ones (a shout out to the friends we've made over at #118) and the upper ones have their own charm. The cozy and private experience in PKK 224 can't be beat. We've been staying here for several years and really appreciate all the upgrades the owners have made each time we come back. While the other reviewers have mentioned the beautiful views and sunsets (!), note that this is also a perfect location even when the occasional "big blow" of wind and rain come through - it's a blast to sit on the protected porch (lanai) and watch the clouds roll off the mountain and across Hanalei Bay and the rain pound all around. We eat breakfast out there every morning as the sun hits the moutains, and watch the sunsets with drinks and pupus every night! A great view of the surfers off Hideaways Beach, and you can even spot an occasional whale, all whilst sitting on your porch (bring binoculars)."

  • Princeville/Hanalei Bay area was awesome!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our unit #111 at Pali Ke Kua had everything we needed including probably one of the best views of the ocean you can get in Princeville. It was clean and modern although if we had kids with us it would have been a tad tight. But for two people it was great. We had been to Kauai 4 times but always stayed in Poipu, but we knew Princeville receives its fair share of rain so we expected a wet stay. It rained the first few days but we found plenty to do in the area, including a trip to the end of the road and walking the beaches, including Hanalei Bay. The next 4 days were all very nice and sunny so we enjoyed a kayak tour in Hanalei and relaxing on the beach. Overall I'd say the unit was as advertised and Bali Hai was easy to deal with and offered lots of support for during our stay. If you are going to stay at Pali Ke Kua pay for an ocean view. Oh ya, the pool was really nice but we only used it once. Unfortunately the hot tub was being serviced the entire time b/c that would have been a nice treat in the evening! Only negative is no gas grill to use to BBQ dinner. For those deciding on North vs South during the winter... North is extremely beautiful, waves are impressive but it does rain. However, the rain breaks and there is a ton of sun and fun to be had."
