  • Where Memories Begin

"Our family of 3 couples spent a beautiful week at Spindrift, celebrating the upcoming birth of our first granddaughter. The house has the most gorgeous view. The layout was perfect for our families. We enjoyed cooking in a well-stocked kitchen and quite morning coffee out on the deck watching a spectacular sun-rise and evening cocktails as the sun set. We did stock up at the local Costco, located close to the airport. There is a plaza with a grocery store, small shops, and coffee shop about 5 minutes away or a nice 15 minute stroll. The house had everything you could want, lots of beach toys and snorkeling gear, towels, chairs. This was so nice as we did visit several of the local beaches. The beach directly below the house was a bit hard to access as it had rained and was very slippery. The house has many movies and books available. I would highly recommend this property. It's obvious that the owner takes great pride in her home. The neighbors are wonderful and do provide additional tips and sites to see around the Island."

  • Exceeded Expectations

"The pictures make the place look really nice, but you never really know as pictures can be outdated, manipulated, etc. That said, the condo was amazing. It is very spacious, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. We had 8 people (4 adults / 4 kids) staying here and we felt we had more than enough room. The complex as a whole is very well maintained and centrally located within Princeville (short walks to St Regis, Queens Bath, Hideways Beach, and Sealodge Beach). Management was great to work with prior to our stay and arranged to have a pak-n-play set up for us prior to our arrival for our toddler. They pleasantly surprised us with a welcome bag of goodies, including macadamia nut chocolates. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again."

  • Amazing views, beautiful decor, wonderful kitchen!

"This was our first stay at the here and we were very happy with our accommodations. The décor is bright and colorful, with high quality custom art work… we felt like we were staying at our best friend’s home, not a vacation rental. The furniture is very nice, comfortable and clean, both inside and on the two spacious patios. It is very private and quiet location and feels like a private home. We both enjoy cooking and the kitchen is complete and well stocked with spices and the all the essentials. The view from the main patio and the kitchen is outstanding, with a sweeping view from mountains all the way to the ocean. The numerous high-quality BBQs on the grounds are under gazebos so we could grill in any weather. We particularly enjoyed the main patio because it is comfortable, dry, and not windy, regardless of the weather. The amazing views over the trees, neighboring pool and ocean provided non-stop beauty and ever-changing scenery for our entire stay. We love it!"

  • Spectacular View -- The Best!

"We loved the North Shore and our home base for five nights before heading to the East Side of Kauai. We did the Kalalau Trail (two miles in and two miles out) the day after we arrived. The path is difficult (rocky and muddy) but so worth it for the views. Definitely bring walking sticks. We went to all the secluded beaches (the most beautiful beaches ever), and the hikes again are muddy and some places steep. The easier beaches to get to are Tunnels, Anini and Hanalei Bay. The secluded ones are a 15 to 20 minute hike. Those beaches are Hideaway Beach (snorkeling great there), Queen’s Bath, and Secret Beach. The small village of Hanalei has cute shops, market, and great restaurants (Bar Acuda was one we really enjoyed). Be sure to check out the Lighthouse and Limahuli Garden & Preserve. So much to do on the North Shore. We were happy we rented Linda’s condo to explore the area before we went East on the Island. Thanks Linda, for your quick response time and all the information. Love Kauai!! FYI, be sure to check out the South Beaches (they are just as spectacular), Waimea Canyon, Koke’e State Park, Wailua Falls, Lydgate Beaches/Park while on the Island. We spent a total of 12 days, and hated to leave. Lots more to explore! It made it convenient staying on the East Side to explore and hike the South Shore and canyon."
