  • GREAT location, you can walk to almost anywhere you want!

"My husband and I recently stayed a week (9/8 through 9/15) in this nice little one bedroom condo. It's perfect for a couple and maybe one child - two small children at the most. There is a pullout couch to sleep on if needed. The kitchen for us was one of the highlights! It was so nice to be able to cook a nice meal and everything you could ask for in a kitchen is there. :). We also appreciated the beach chairs, beach umbrellas and boogie boards. Great private LARGE patio just outside the back sliding door, we didn't use it much but it was so great to have it for star gazing at night. The other highlight that will bring us back to this condo is the location - you can literally walk across the street to a beautiful beach. It was never crowded and perfect for nightly sunsets....beautiful! Sarah, the owner, was always quick to respond to any message and very helpful. :). It's not a 5 star resort but remember, it's not a 5 star price. We will book again in the future!"

  • Two Wonderful Vacations

"We have had the pleasure of staying in Carole & Lothar's condo on two occasions, first for three weeks in April 2014 and the second for a month in April 2015. This was our first experience going on vacation without our RV or staying in a resort, and to be quite frank, we were apprehensive. Our initial contacts with Carole quickly alleviated any concerns we had, and once we saw the property, we knew we had made the right choice. Kihei Kai Nani is well situated to enjoy everything Maui has to offer. The gorgeous views of Haleakala, the pristine Kamaole Beach, central to venture out to Wailea, Lahaina, Kahului, easy access to the Road to Hana, and many more activities make this a perfect location. The condo itself is cozy and very comfortable. Carole and Lothar have certainly equipped their home with all the necessities to make staying here feel like being at home. Extras including accessories for spending the day at the beach such as beach chairs, coolers and an umbrella ensure you will enjoy activities without buying stuff you can't or don't want to carry on the plane!!! And while we wouldn't recommend planning for rain days (think we saw about 10 drops on 1 day out of the two trips), there's a new smart TV, books and games to occupy anyone. In summary, we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly both times in Maui. Staying in Carole and Lothar's condo made us immediately feel at home and free to lay back and be ourselves. If the Canadian dollar had been a little less beaten by the U.S. greenback, I'm sure we would have been back again in 2016!!!! The only downside is both our trips have coincided with Carole and Lothar being away on trips of their own, and we have yet to actually meet them face to face, something we sincerely look forward to!!! • 2 week stay in Condo 208

"My wife and I stayed in Room 208 at Kihei Kai Nani on Maui from August 24th thru Sept. 7th. The condo was just as advertised. Right across from Kam 2 beach and we could sit on our Lanai and watch the ocean waves as we drank our morning coffee. The kitchen was well furnished as well as the linens and beach equipment such as chairs, towels and toys if one had children. The condo was very clean. The grounds were very nice as they had a lot of flowers and shrubs. The pool was excellent. Nice laundry facility that we used since this unit did not offer washer/dryer. The staff that we talked to were helpful if we had questions. The air conditioner in the bedroom worked great as the trade winds stopped for a few days due to the hurricanes that passed near the islands. I had read some complaints about this condo having noise from traffic from the road in front as well as the Subway behind our unit. However we were just fine with nothing bothering us. The only loud noises we heard were from the small birds that ran around. The location of this condo was perfect in that we rented a car and drove all over the island stopping and seeing the sights. It was great having beach access right across the street from us, cause we just took our chairs and enjoyed the scenery. We were close to shopping, grocery stores, bars and restaurants. Some people want to complain in their reviews about any little thing. However, it would be tough to complain when your in Maui for 2 weeks. Carolyn answered any questions we had prior to our stay. This was our first trip to Hawaii and we would most certainly go back and would have no problems staying in this unit again. I would recommend this facility to any of my friends or relatives."

  • Love the Kai Nani!

"My husband and I always stay at the Kai Nani when visiting Maui, 6 years in a row now, we cant imagine staying anywhere else! This was our first stay in this unit and I am pleased to say we were very happy with the location close to the pool yet far away from any road noise, only the beautiful sound of the birds we miss them already! The unit was very clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. We would definetly stay in this unit again and would recommend to friends and family as well. We look forward to our next visit!😎 Leanne & Steve"
