  • Great location and excellent host!

"We're a family of three and we chose this condo primarily on the price, location and last minute availability for the season (late Aug). Jeremy was very quick to respond and very helpful, pro-active and friendly, helping us with tips for figuring out island logistics, food shopping and so on. The condo was great for our needs. A short walk to the beach (1 minute) and convenient for everything. We''ve grown very fond of Kam 2 beach over all the others. :-) The Kihei Kai Nani complex (or whatever you call it) was helpful (main office) and their pool was a real plus for our son, who learned to get comfortable there and had way more fun in the ocean as a result. The pool was never crowded and everyone friendly. The unit was in great shape, good amenities for the price, and a comfortable bed. No view of the ocean, but with it so close by, it doesn't really matter. There were lots of summer reading books, board games for our little guy, and an acoustic guitar, which was a really nice surprise. With both doors open in the late afternoon or evening, a nice cool breeze kept us comfortable. We rarely used the air con. If you're looking for food shopping within walking distance, we'd recommend the organic food store, which actually had pretty reasonable prices called Half Moon or something like that, on South Kihei Road, just a block or two up. Best food of the trip within walking distance was Cafe O Lei for dinner. Worst was Bistro 808 for breakfast, give that a pass. The beaches are beautiful and an early morning trip before the wind picks up is key. We saw lots of turtles in the water right from shore, and this beach seemed fairly tame for the season (Aug/Sept) for swimming as we did laps of it in the morning and even in the late afternoon. We'll definitely book again! Thanks very much for welcoming us into your condo, Jeremy. Mahalo."

  • GREAT location, you can walk to almost anywhere you want!

"My husband and I recently stayed a week (9/8 through 9/15) in this nice little one bedroom condo. It's perfect for a couple and maybe one child - two small children at the most. There is a pullout couch to sleep on if needed. The kitchen for us was one of the highlights! It was so nice to be able to cook a nice meal and everything you could ask for in a kitchen is there. :). We also appreciated the beach chairs, beach umbrellas and boogie boards. Great private LARGE patio just outside the back sliding door, we didn't use it much but it was so great to have it for star gazing at night. The other highlight that will bring us back to this condo is the location - you can literally walk across the street to a beautiful beach. It was never crowded and perfect for nightly sunsets....beautiful! Sarah, the owner, was always quick to respond to any message and very helpful. :). It's not a 5 star resort but remember, it's not a 5 star price. We will book again in the future!"

  • Lovely updated condo

"Just spent 8 days at this wonderful condo. The condo was updated and had all necessary items in the kitchen as well as for the beach. The patio faced away from the road so was quiet and very private. I've stayed at the kihei kai nani 19 times and this is one of my favorite condos so far. Thanks for a wonderful vacation."

  • Comfortable, quiet and just perfect

"Very beautiful condo. Completely updated and very clean. 3 minutes walk to the Kamaole Beach II. Very comfortable and roomy for our 4 week vacation. The kitchen had every appliance and kitchen tool we needed. Bathroom is nice and spacious although the shower takes a while. All sorts of towels were provided along with beach chairs. Beds were very comfortable, even the pullout couch was great! Quiet place away from the street - only birds to hear. The owner was great to deal with. All questions were answered immediately. We can only recommend staying in this condo at the Kihei Kai Nani!! Aloha!"
