  • Lahaina : staying at Puamana unit 175-3

"Puamana is a lovely, old Hawaii style private, gated community of low rise townhouses (nothing above palm tree height). The location is excellent offering lovely ocean and island views yet within easy walking distance of Lahaina town center. Unlike the high rise hotels, no crowds or noise which suits my wife and I perfectly. The ocean side pool is especially enjoyable (gorgeous views) and the grounds are really well manicured and maintained. On this visit we stayed in a garden view, one bed, two bath unit (175-3) although the complex has many rental options. All are privately owned and hence differ in layout, furnishings and quality (with prices to match!). 175-3 is a comfortably large unit with a decent sized lanai (ie covered deck). Furnishings were generally fair to good although some upgrading would be beneficial and the property manager noted he would be doing this. Overall, the unit was good value for the price. Recommended."

  • Wonderful ocean front townhouse.

"Our family of six loved this townhouse in a wonderful gated community. The grounds and views are much nicer than the pictures show. We were steps away from the ocean and this home is right at the ocean access. The only thing that was missing was a hammock."

"the condo filled our every need. The kitchen was very well supplied with all the equipment for cooking. We even picked a fresh banana for breakfast. Lots of outside and inside sitting and eating areas. All spotlessly clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. Nice to have a TV in every room I loved the decor. Great prints and art pieces that made it fun to stay there. The location is excellant. Private and beautiful on the beach but close to shopping areas, tourist attractions and activities . I would definitely recommend this condo. It will be first on my list for the next trip."

  • Maui Paradise

"This is a beautiful condo with a breathtaking view! We had all the necessities provided for us there, including snorkel masks and fins to look up close at the huge sea turtles swimming in the bay right in front of the condo. I would suggest you bring the booties to wear with fins as you need to climb down some sharp rocks to get in. They have beach chairs also, but two of the three were broken and need to be thrown out. If you don't need both bedrooms, I suggest sleeping in the King loft, but keeping your clothes and toiletries in the downstairs bed and bath. (Not much room for a couples things up.) No problem though. Great restaurants were Sea House, Lava Lava and I highly suggest the luau at Old Lahaina! We never wanted to leave!!"
