  • Puamana Endless Summer Bungalow 12-4

"Puamana is a beautiful, relaxed community and this home is lovely. Our family really appreciated the proximity of this home to the private tennis court, amazing oceanfront pool, surrounding beaches, and general activities on the island. The owners were very gracious and keep the home in impeccable condition, with everything you would need for a great stay. Our family of four appreciated the accommodations; (large outdoor living space with BBQ), perfect size kitchen, 2 bdrm, 2 bath, so we could be together, but with a little space. You are minutes from Lahaina and other great areas north and south, but out of the congestion, and close to the more quaint Olowalu community with its juice stand, general store, and Leoda's fabulous restaurant. This home and this community is an excellent way to enjoy Maui whether you are traveling as adults only or as a family."

  • Beautiful, Comfortable, Relaxing...

"Fantastic place and location!! The home was beautifully decorated & clean, two master suites w/ bathrooms upstairs were large and comfortable with ocean views. All three bedrooms had their own AC units. The home had pretty much everything you needed, from beach chairs, boogie boards & etc. Location was across the street from the ocean, behind in the back was the family pool & also a quiet pool pretty much on the ocean by the clubhouse. I spent most of my time at the quiet pool enjoying the ocean and relaxing. We were within walking or biking distance to Lahaina front street restaurants & shopping. I hope to return soon with family/friends. Enjoyed my stay it was a very relaxing vacation. Thank You!!!!"

  • Spectacular Oceanfront View Overlooking Lana'i

"I am writing this review sitting on the covered lanai literally fifteen feet from the edge of the ocean listening to the crashing of waves, SPECTACULAR!!! The bottom line: Would we stay in this townhouse again? Absolutely, in a heartbeat! The price while not exactly inexpensive is a pretty good "value", especially for Maui. The close location to Lahaina is also quite excellent. Several things other reviewers mentioned are somewhat true. The close proximity to the water is why I would not recommend for anyone with small children. I am an experienced ocean swimmer and entry into the ocean from the two access points is difficult and somewhat challenging due to the large rocks, many covered in algae or moss (don't even attempt without good surf shoes). However, this inconvenience is easily overcome by the close proximity to Puamana Beach Park which is less than 100 feet away (there is a gate you can use). Puamana Beach Park has a small but nice sandy beach to enter the water. There are usually a lot of surfers (especially the stand up paddle board surfers), so it seems a little safer if you are going for a swim or just want to frolic in the water (there are no county lifeguards like you find at some of the bigger Hawaii beaches). One other note worth mentioning. The townhouse is beautiful with the Hawaiian Koa wood and several Hawaiian quilts handmade by the townhouse owner and does have three upstairs bedrooms. The one bedroom facing the ocean with the lanai is spectacular and the other two bedrooms are smaller and being on the front side of the house are suspect to road noise from Hawaii hwy. 30. The noise can be alleviated by keeping the windows closed. This only works well if you don't mind sleeping with the bedroom door open and the people sleeping in the oceanfront bedroom do the same, thereby allowing a nice nighttime breeze and the most wonderful sound to sleep by: the sound of crashing waves. Again the overall rating is spectacular, Mahalo!"

  • Truly An Oceanfront Paradise!!!

"We just came back from a fabulous, relaxing week at this oceanfront paradise, at the end, (which felt more private), of Puamana. The owner was wonderful to work with; the home was beautiful, warm and comfortable, and was very clean, well stocked with whatever we needed or would have liked. Spectacular views from master and top floor bedrooms, large comfortable living room, though most of our time was spent hanging out at the great outdoor patio with grill - taking it all in - watching the waves, surfers, and even the whales, and palm trees swaying. We loved the proximity to things to do - just a few steps to the beach, or a few more to the pool, and tennis, and easy walk or bike ride to the picturesque fun little town of Lahaina, where there is lots to do - shop, boat tours, and the like. We drove about 15 minutes to snorkel in a recommended spot (mile marker 14) which was excellent, where we swam with exotic colorful fish and even sea turtles. Highly recommend this townhouse for anyone wanting a great relaxing stay!"
