  • Best condo experience ever

"The condo is beautifully designed and situated in such a convenient central location in Waikiki! Most of the popular sites are either walking distance or easily accessible by bus. The owner has thought of nearly every amenity to make a visitor's stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchen is well designed for functional use and the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, plus pull out sofa bed set up makes it a great rental for medium size families. The pullout bed is surprisingly substantially more comfortable than most even though it squeeks a bit. The adjustable AC is available in every room which is a godsend after a long day in the sun and they are all equipped with strong fans. There are coin operated shared laundry rooms located just down the hall which is convenient for light packers. The television is Internet ready with Netflix, Amazon, etc... and there are multiple electrical outlets easily accessible in every room. Between the counter, the dining table, the coffee table and the balcony seating, there is plenty of space to relax and eat or lounge. The balconies offer both a beautiful city view and partial oceanview with an overview of Hilton Hawaiian Village's performance stage for free entertainment and the upper floor provides a fantastic natural breeze for a breath of fresh evening air. The furniture is very tasteful, the cushions are very plush and there are plenty of bed pillows in just about every firmness. The entire unit is very clean and kept in good order. A lovely personal touch is a guest journal where guests can write about their experience including feedback or recommended places to eat or sights to see. The owner has provided plenty of suggestions for out of towners to check out the local area and I loved all of the recommendations. With hotel like accommodations in a place designed with a personal and homey touch, this condo has won my family over on every single level. I'm so glad I lucked out by finding this place and not only will I come back here on a returning trip, I'd highly recommend this unit to any and all of my friends and family also looking to visit Waikiki."

  • Perfect Hawaii Family vacation home!

"We were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. The home was perfect! Beautiful pool/spa and back yard with tiki bar, barbq and fire pit. Very well maintained and very clean inside and out. A great location on Oahu for a bit of away from the crowd scene but close enough to go into town for dinner etc. We felt a very good value for 8 of us (two families) sharing the home. The only negative we had is the next door neighbors complain right at 10 pm if you are using the backyard so plan on ending the pool/spa and fire pit at 10 and taking it inside which is perfectly fine. Home sits on a quaint canal with beautiful sunsets on a quiet culdesac. The owner provided us with several beach towls, ice chests, and some beach chairs and umbrellas also. We loved it and will return! Aloha!"

  • Location Location Location

"My wife & I stayed for 5 nights from May 30 to June 5 2016. We have stayed at the Ala Moana Hotel on previous occasions because of it excellent location adjacent to the huge, now very upmarket, shopping centre but within walking distance of Walmart and the large Don Quixote supermarket. It is also a hub for the buses and staying here avoids the often very busy and slow leg to Waikiki. Studio rooms in the Ala Moana Hotel are smallish but adequate. A 1 bedroom suite costs a lot more money. The ocean view is obtained from the lanai. This unit is directly behind the elevators which you can hear, particularly in the still of the night and when the a/c unit is in its off cycle. The unit represents good value when compared to the hotel rates so if you are prepared to make your own bed you can save some money. Owner was prompt in replying to all queries during the booking process and security deposit was promptly returned."

  • Excellent Location for Walkers

"Off the beaten path which is excellent if you don't want to stay in the madness that is Waikiki and love to walk about. Clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Balcony has an excellent view of the Ali Wai golf course and, although it was a bit rainy and cloudy during our stay, we managed to see the Friday night fireworks and a gorgeous Saturday sunset while enjoying a few libations. The owner was very helpful with our stay and managed to track us down when a small building issue (water was shut off in the building for minor maintenance) might have possibly impacted us (it didn't). Lots of local gems for eating within easy walking distance too!"
