  • Diamond Head jungle cottage

"I travel a lot for business, and always stay in hotels. Because I needed to be in Hawaii for a couple of weeks, I booked this cottage as an alternative. It was perfect - it is in the most amazing neighborhood on Oahu and literally walking distance (about one mile) to the beaches of Waikiki. (Neighborhood beach is just two blocks away.) However, this cottage is totally quiet and secluded; surrounded by beautiful foliage and landscape. The cottage itself was so much better than I expected and than the pictures - expenses weren't spared when this structure was restored and Jo had it spotless when I arrived. I would not only recommend this place to anyone who can handle the steps to get to it, but I plan to rent it twice per year while I'm in HI on business (as long as it's available). Thanks so much for everything, Jo!"

  • Cozy apartment right in the heart of Waikiki

"Four of us stayed in Gary's apartment, which was equipped with everything we needed for a great time in Hawaii - fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, chairs and umbrella, ironing board (for ironing shirts for attending a wedding). The air conditioning unit was noisy so we just slept with the windows open. The bathroom is basic and could use an update. Location is great for exploring Waikiki, as it is near the beach (less than 10 min walk), grocery store (Food Pantry), restaurants and shopping (Nordstrom Rack right across the street!)."

  • Very nice property, well equipped and maintained; a home away from home!

"My wife and I stayed in this unit for ten days during September of 2016 and found it to be a very comfortable and pleasant experience. We particularly enjoyed the security of the Four Paddle complex - having a Security Guard around the clock, a gated entry, and an electronic fob required for entry... all a plus. Also, having a free dedicated parking spot in the parking garage was very nice. Margo was a pleasure to work with, having fresh-cut flowers and a bowl full of fresh fruit in the unit upon our arrival. Additionally, she gave us a number of ideas for things-to-see and do while on Oahu (one being the Tantalus Overlook, a must-see). The Four Paddle Condominium sits a couple of blocks over from the hustle and bustle of Kalakaua Avenue, but the walk is a short one. The only downside that I could find is that there is not a view of Waikiki Beach, or of Diamond Head, but that's a small concession to pay given the bang-for-your-buck that you get here! We would certainly place this unit at the top of our list for our next stay in Honolulu."
