  • Lovely family vacation home

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a party of 5 adults and 2 seniors and found this place met our needs and expectations exactly. Ample sleeping space, privacy, and common spaces to enjoy. We have been to the islands many times before staying in resorts and hotels, and wanted a more down to earth family vacation where all could be under one roof. The home has everything we needed and more, the kitchen was well stocked, there is a nice Webber BBQ, and many toys to enjoy including a couple of Sea Kayaks which we were fortunate to be able to use right off the back of the house to get out to the ocean. There were also snorkels, beach mats, boogie boards, fishing rods, and a plethora of other things that if we had known, would not have brought our own. It's in a secure, safe and beautiful neighborhood. The location is ideal for anyone who's had enough of Waikiki and Honolulu but still want amenities close by. You wake up to the sounds of singing birds and breeze, not to traffic, backing up of garbage and delivery trucks. The Marina complex is right down the street, with Costco, Safeway, eateries and Cafes, yoga studio, etc... It's also just right outside of Hanauma bay, Kokohead, and 10 minutes west of the very picturesque windward side of Oahu. If you do plan on doing anything in Honolulu, travel downtown during off-peak hours, the traffic isn't bad then. However during peak times (6:30-8:30 weekdays), it will be a crawl as there is only one way in and out from the east side of the island. Your time is better spend just heading down to the beach until 9-9:30 when traffic dies down. Same thing applies going the other way in the afternoon. Overall, the place met all our expectations and more. It is a lovely home, and the operators have the guests in mind 100%. This is a perfect place for small-medium sized parties and I would highly recommend it to anyone."

  • Beachfront comfortable home

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay in this home. Location was absolutely perfect and close to everything. The young kids had a great time playing on the lawn which spilled out to a private beach. We saw very few people. The water was very shallow which was great for young kids but not great if you really wanted to swim. House was well appointed and clean. The TV was extremely old and if you like TV it would be a problem. The pool was also cold due to the time of year but that didn't stop the younger kids. I would highly recommend this home."

  • Great location on Waikiki beach

"Loved our stay at the Hilton Lagoon Tower this past week. Renting through John was easy, any questions I had were answered in a timely fashion. We found the lagoon tower to be nicely situated on the property, being set to the outside you could choose whether you wanted to enter into the Hilton shopping areas or just bypass them and use the main sidewalks for easy access to shopping, restaurants and even a small grocery store. It was a 20 min walk to Ala Mauna mall and a 35 minute walk to the other end of Waikiki so the options were endless. Prices at the Hilton restaurants were slightly higher than the other resort area restaurants. We especially loved the Cheesecake Cafe & the Outback. If you are looking for a luau though bypass the Hilton and take the day trip to the Polynesian Cultural Center as it was amazing! If you find that you have an early checkout and a late flight do not hesitate to ask for a day pass to the owners suite. They will gladly provide you with one so that you can lock valuables up for the day, and then return later and shower and freshen up before your flight. The only downfall to our condo rental was the location in that we overlooked the lagoon and the luau as well which was noisy in the evenings. We worked around it, enjoyed watching from above or closed the balcony doors during the show portion but really it was just between 7 and 8 that it was the most disruptive. We would not hesitate to rent from John again, and if staying in Waikiki would be looking for the Lagoon Tower."

  • Wonderful Time! Great Location!

"Super easy transaction, as we were arriving late very precise instructions on how to obtain keys. Exactly as pictured, clean & well maintained. We had a great time and loved the location, close to everything. Great view of fireworks on Friday night from the balcony as well as being able to watch the Hilton's Luau 3 nights! Only bummer was I didn't bring beach towels as previous reviews mentioned they were provided. There was only 1 beach towel so we had to go and purchase some. Hope to return soon!!"
