  • Desirable Corner Unit Indeed!

"Our family of 4 stayed here for 8 nights in June. Initially we were a little concerned about the size of the one-bedroom unit. We were pleasantly surprised that there was more than ample size for us all and our luggages. Waikiki Banyan is a great condo to stay in due to its convenient location, and we couldn't have asked for a more ideal unit than this. Except for the sofa bed which was too soft (but the children weren't complaining), everything else was perfect. Lynn was a dream to work with - I had some issues regarding the deposit and payment mode and Lynn did her best to accommodate my requests. She was very prompt replying to my emails and provided all the details needed to make our stay easy and comfortable. When we return to Waikiki in the future, we will definitely stay at Waikiki Banyan again. And I wouldn't bother checking out other units - Lynn's would be my first and only choice!"

  • Good location and value for a single or couple.

"The Royal Garden is located within walking distance of everything in Waikiki, and offers a quiet experience. Compared to many other properties. Margaret's studio condo is a nice corner unit with a lanai overlooking the AlaWai and mountains, as well as views toward Ala Moana and the ocean. The room has everything you need if you should decide to cook simple meals and a full-size refrigerator. Wifi is available, included, and generally worked well during my stay for business email, Internet searches, Facebook, etc. The room is standard "small" and furnishings somewhat used and dated, but functunctional. The bed comfortable, but would be a little short for taller folks. This unit was a great place to spend a week for business, yet relax a bit. Most facilities at the Royal Garden are available for those who rent this studio. Margaret is prompt in her response to your requests and emails helpful information prior to your arrival. I will definitely consider staying in this unit again if it is available during my next stay on Oahu."

  • Location Location Location

"My wife & I stayed for 5 nights from May 30 to June 5 2016. We have stayed at the Ala Moana Hotel on previous occasions because of it excellent location adjacent to the huge, now very upmarket, shopping centre but within walking distance of Walmart and the large Don Quixote supermarket. It is also a hub for the buses and staying here avoids the often very busy and slow leg to Waikiki. Studio rooms in the Ala Moana Hotel are smallish but adequate. A 1 bedroom suite costs a lot more money. The ocean view is obtained from the lanai. This unit is directly behind the elevators which you can hear, particularly in the still of the night and when the a/c unit is in its off cycle. The unit represents good value when compared to the hotel rates so if you are prepared to make your own bed you can save some money. Owner was prompt in replying to all queries during the booking process and security deposit was promptly returned."
