  • Vacation Away from NYC

"Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was beautiful. The flow was really nice and the space was very free and open. For a rental, it was pretty good. We felt happy and relaxed while we were there. However, the dish washer was not working. It turned on and you can hear water going through the dishes but it did not wash ANYTHING at all. We had to wash everything by hand. By second day, we bought paper plates and cups. The place also looks rather dated (but not a big factor, unless you're very particular). However, if I was the owner, I would probably update some stuff. We had one incident -- which was very unnerving. By seventh day into the stay, someone broke into the house while we were home. It was around 10:30pm, my kids were asleep (in the master bedroom with me). I was awake and sitting up in bed with the lights on. Most of the indoor lights were still on. My husband was at the gym (not home). Someone had gone through the sliding door (which was closed but not locked yet. We were still awake after all) from the beach and into the property and came into the master bedroom (WHILE I WAS THERE! AWAKE!). He was a very brazen thief! He ran away when I saw him and the cops didn't find him. All this to say: we were pretty shaken and angered that the motion lights outside (all over the house; front and back) were not working. I would have definitely noticed if the lights outside went on when he was there or it would have hindered him from coming in if the lights turned on. Apparently, he had come from another house. He had stolen an SLR camera from another rental nearby (and he left it on the backyard). All this to say: be forewarned. It's a nice place but petty theft is rampant in the area. Lock the doors EVEN when you're home and make sure all the lights work. And for the property management: might be best to put cameras in the area (pointing out -- not inside) so you can see if someone does break in again. I would."

  • Wonderful apartment

"Great location, easy to get to all Waikiki has to offer, and great cheap public transport 2 minutes away to the rest of Honolulu. Apartment is beautiful, has everything you need for a comfortable stay and amazing views from the lanai and bedroom. Great for the fireworks on Friday nights. We are a family of 2 adults and a teenager and it was perfect. Would certainly recommend and would love to return."

  • Great Unit. Great View. Great Location.

"Stayed here for about a week and this is great location right on Waikiki Beach. Unit has nearly everything you need. It was clean, well presented as it's shown on pictures. BEACH LOVERS - all things you need are available on the patio and beach towels are provided. KITCHEN was clean, all appliances were working, most of the things I needed to cook meal were all in there. BATHROOM was clean. The counter had shampoo, lotion and conditioner. If you're staying longer, might need to get bottles at ABC Stores (Walking distance) or Safeway (about 1.5 miles), LOCATION: about a block away from the beach. If you want to run, run on Waikiki beach towards all the shops or towards Diamond Head. The bedroom and the balcony has an amazing view of the Diamond head and the Ocean. It's near Honolulu Zoo. PARKING GARAGE - very tiny space, but make sure you request that so you don't have to pay daily. Internet worked well and it was fast. TV are all flat screen and modern. LAUNDRY: Make sure you get quarters, it's $2.00 a load, $2.00 for dryer (High heat lasts 1Hr). FOOD: There's a ton of food places near the unit. If you want to drive, about a mile away from Rainbow Drive Inn. 2miles - Agu Ramen. Poke, there's a new poke place nearby Safeway. Didn't get to try it, but you can also buy poke at Safeway. SOUVENIRS - It's about 15 mins drive, but I recommend that you go to Aloha Swap Meet. FRIDAY NIGHTS - Free fireworks show at Hilton Waikiki Village. It's a far walk, but with all the shops on your walk, I think you won't know the distance you've walked. You can always drive there, but get there early for better parking. There was a public parking we found for a last minute and cost about $10. It was about couple of blocks of walk. Next visit in Oahu, I'll definitely rent and recommend this unit again. Mahalo!"

  • Great Experience

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was beautiful and clean, the hotel staff was great and the management of the unit was also very helpful. We requested a late check out our last night and it was no problem since no one was coming in the night before. Trump has five star staff and service. The soaker tub was a huge benefit and the unit was quiet located at the end of the hall. We would definitely go back for out next staycation."
