  • Amazing Condo with a view.

"This condo has a amazing view of the bay. The kitchen has been recently remodeled with nice granite and wood cabinets. Condo includes a lot of necessary things for the vacationers such as ice box, plates and dishes, and a parking space included with the stay which saves a lot of money. The bathroom is also very clean and remodeled. It was nice to eat breakfast while enjoying the view of the bay and fresh air. A/C is also very good cooled the entire studio without a problem. Hardwood floors and Hawaiian decorations were a very nice touch. Having parking was the best part since we had a rental car and it saved us a lot of money by not paying for the spot. The owners are very responsive and will do everything they can in order to make your stay very comfortable. I hope to return here once again and will recommend friends and families. Thanks for the beautiful home."

  • Awesome Apartment in the best location

"Aloha, We are a adult family of four on our third holiday to Ohau and our second stay in one of Gary's apartments. Already planning our return next year, and we know where we will be staying. Great apartments in the best location. Set back from the road so minimal road noise. Within 5 minutes walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. Great parking available for our rental car. Safe and secure anytime day or night. A big thank you to Merry who makes the whole experience of apartment rental so easy and enjoyable. Mahalo"

  • Great location and perfect for a medium sized group

"Location, location, location. This is the best attribute for the house we rented in September, 2016. It was a short walk to a great beach and just a little father on to all of the features of Waikiki. It was close enough to mnny of the visitor spots in Waikiki, but far enough away to miss all of the noise and the great throngs of people at Waikiki. It was only a few steps away from a park which had multiple major events going on during our stay. It was also an easy walk to the zoo. There is a surfer's beach about 75 steps away from the house, but this is not a good beach for swimming; there are much better beaches just a little farther away. The house was built in 1930 and had all of the charm and solid construction of that period. We used all five bedrooms and all four baths. It was a great house for a group of 9 people. We especially loved the outdoor shower for the second floor master. The shower was private, but had a great open air feeling to it. The house has CHARACTER. We rented the house for our immediate family who were attending our daughter's (who lives in Honolulu) wedding. The location was great as it was a short drive to most of the wedding and visitor events. Please remember that traffic in Honolulu can be very heavy, so having a rental property that allowed us to walk many places was of great help. Note that the house was for sale so rental dates may be limited in the future The house is across the street from several tall condominiums and the ocean. The house offers just a peak of water, but was about 700 feet from a great beach. The kitchen contained high end appliances and contained about everything that we needed. We found that that owner was exceeding gracious and easy to work with. There are rules for renting and they do need to be followed. The neighborhood was quiet as many of the condo owners appear to be part-time tenants. One point to be aware of; the house was not air conditioned (this is typical of Hawaii houses) and could get a little warm in the afternoon. We found that the tradewinds and the open ventilation doors of the house kept us cooler during the morning and at night. Each room had at least one ceiling fan. Not a deal breaker but harder on older relatives. We had a great time on our Oahu vacation and would definitely rent this house again if were available. A nice owner with a great home in a great location It make renters feel that they WANT to take care of the property."
