  • Nice property. Would recommend for those on a budget.

"Good experience. Pros: -close to everything in town -Front desk attendant Dave was super helpful and provided beach gear that we did not have -decent pool area, very clean and well kept -laundry on site -quiet and safe Cons: -uncomfortable pull-out couch -dive bar next door led to a lot of people loitering out front"

  • Convenient; Comfortable; Class Acts; Connectivity (WiFi)

"I cannot think of enough "C" superlatives to complete my alliteration! However, congratulations to you, the reader, for considering this rental; you are one step closer to a great stay. The location is great; Waikiki beach was a few blocks away. There were plenty of ABC stores within walking distance for supplies, many food options were within walking distance, and there were plenty of stores around for shopping like Ross and H&M. However, since you have a parking spot included, I suggest renting a car and taking a quick drive to Food Land, Don Quijote, and Walmart. All three are located around the Ala Moana Center, which has many more shopping and food options ( I suggest the Shirokiya Japan Village Walk for a Japanese food court). During our stay, we attended the Paradise Cove luau, and their bus picks you up from a block away! As for the condo itself, the property had all the necessities and then some; it comfortably fit four adults and probably could have fit one more. The bed and sofa were comfortable; everything was clean. Ceiling fans kept the air circulated while the air conditioning keeps you cool. Edna and staff provided soap and shampoo. There are two flat screen televisions: one in the living room and another in the bedroom. If you don't want to watch TV, feel free to stream some videos using their complimentary WiFi! A full sized fridge, electric stove, oven and a dishwasher highlight a very usable kitchen area. If recall correctly, there was also a Crock-Pot slow cooker, a coffee maker, and plenty of dishes and cooking vessels. We didn't take advantage of the kitchen area, but I'll consider it for my next visit! As for Edna and her staff, they were great. Edna was quick to respond to any inquiry before, during, AND after the stay. Her directions to getting to and into the condo were easy to understand. In conclusion, I highly recommend this property and have already discussed coming back!"

  • Cozy Home Away From Home

"The perfect location for our one night stay in Waikiki. We needed a place to stay for just a one nighter, as we were participating in the Susan G. Komen, Relay for Life event that was held at Magic Island, a stone's throw away from our cozy apartment. The perfect setting! Away from the busy Waikiki scene, yet close to everything. Emmanuel, the owner, was very responsive once the request for the apartment was submitted via email. He answered each and every email within minutes and answered every question I had.. We met Emmanuel at the 7-11 which is conveniently located next to the apartment building! Escorting us to the parking structure, he explained the procedure to enter and exit, then walked us through the steps on how to enter the parking elevator using the keys he had given us (he actually had us do it ourselves so we'd know exactly how to utilize it). Such a great teacher! As we entered the apartment, he explained where things were and how to use the air conditioner (24/7 for the bedroom AC) and the portable AC should we need it. The apartment was fully equipped, like home. Since we were staying for just a night, we didn't need the range that was there, nor all the beach gear that we available on the lanai! There was even a walking stick, hmmm, maybe next time, a trip to the beach and a breezy hike might be in store! The refrigerator was a great amenity, we needed to put a lot of food that would be taken to our evening event. It wasn't a hotel room size refrigerator either! It was large enough to place everything we had with much room to spare! There were even iced mugs in the freezer, even if we didn't use them, I'm sure it sure comes in handy if you needed to consume alcohol. Cheers! Also, the Wi Fi in this place fast! My nephew mentioned, "The Wi Fi is great, it's super fast!" as he played on his iPad. He was a happy camper in the apartment too. The apartment was quaint, clean and cozy. The coolness sure added to the many bonuses on such a blazing, hot summer day. It was nice to get settled in with our belongings and rest before our evening event. We were so blessed to have noticed this apartment on VRBO. It appeared to be the only 1 nighter available in July for this apartment. It seems many people know about this place and have rented it out, we were fortunate to have been able to have our brief stay here on July 16, 2016. Mahalo, Emmanuel for being such a gracious, kind and generous host! We sure hope to stay longer next time."

  • Excellent location, good view, great value

"Located in a great location within an easy walk to the beach. Great communication from the owner. Always quick to respond to our questions (I don't think he sleeps). Good for families, not super fancy. Good value. Some maintenance issues with bathroom doors (hinges/jamming/handles) that could easily be fixed and the toilet cistern was temperamental. We'd come back for sure. I think Aussie families of four would always prefer a Queen Bed and two single beds for the kids, but all U.S. rooms seem to be set up with two queens. If you are looking at booking a long time in the future, this owner has another apartment that is maybe a little nicer. Check it out on VRBO Building's pool is quite large and nice. Cafe downstairs is nice and quirky but closes early afternoon (just when you are back looking for a coffee) Can recommend The Hilton's "24/7" restaurant which is over the road. "Best Coffee in Seattle" was a bit average (next hotel toward the beach)"
