Vacation rentals near Hawaii's Plantation Village

The property was fantastic, well appointed, had everything from snorkel gear to washer and drier. Spices for cooking were there. Nice pans. Great view. Very happy with our stay.

My daughter and I enjoyed a short stay at the oceanfront beach rental in Kailua, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Shari, who hosted us, went above and beyond to make sure our visit was absolutely perfect.From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The beach rental was in pristine condition, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything we could possibly need for our stay.Shari’s communication was exceptional: she was available whenever we had a question and made us feel completely welcome and at ease. It’s rare to find such genuine care and attentiveness from a host, and it truly enhanced our experience.The location was unbeatable, just a few steps away from the ocean. Waking up to breathtaking sunrises and enjoying the calming sound of the waves set the perfect tone for each day.This stay was extra special as we were celebrating my daughter’s college graduation, and this beautiful property gave us the ideal setting to create lasting memories together.I can’t recommend this beach rental enough: it’s not just a place to stay, it’s an experience. Everything was fantastic about this property. Very well maintained. Stunning views of mountain and ocean. The lanai sold me. Was amazing to be able to sit outside, yet be inside at the same time! Kitchen was stocked with everything you need with clean dishes in good shape. Ice maker was a huge plus to make drinks. Very spacious and private areas with separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Would 100% recommend and we will be back!

Our conclusion first: this is a terrific place to book for a small family reunion and we definitely recommend it. The resort grounds are more peaceful and naturally beautiful than the Disney resort next door and the accommodations met the needs of our 3 couples with one child. The service is very responsive and helpful. The best parts of the condo were the outdoor balcony, the spacious interior with a bathroom for each bedroom, and the beach amenities. We don’t consider ourselves to be bourgeoisie but do believe that the title “1st Class Luxury” was stretched in the condo. The furniture was not comfortable (ie beds) or dusty, the vents and shower curtains were a bit filthy, the electronics and wifi were dated and inconsistent, and many appliances were not consistently serviceable during our stay (stove, dishwasher). If you can get past those details and focus on the beautiful island experience, this is definitely a 4.99 star stay we recommend. Just saying they can up their game a bit.

Our stay was great! The view is what makes this room a steal. It's an older building, but you get what you pay for. Sonya is a wonderful owner, and she is very knowledgeable. We had a fantastic time, and we would book this room again.

We were so happy with this condo! The views are spectacular, the ocean view right there! Friday light fireworks, clean linens, utensils ready to cook food, drawers for clothes, washer & dryer huge plus!!! Close by stores to grab food: i suggest safeway is better than walmart 100%, no chicken or beef at walmart. The condo was very clean, very easy access to beachfront, private gate goes right out to the beach, we used a water proof phone carrier for the key & door code & just left everything else in the room so we could swim without phones! The steak place right below is fantastic, abc stores everywhere, easy walking to many designer stores, we walked everywhere, rented a car nearby, walked there, drive for a day was like $25 in gas because not many miles! Be sure to go to waimea falls, dole plantation, macadamia nut farm, luau, pearl harbor, drive the coast. Try dolphins & u as well!! What else...!! Lots of food options, but we walked to walmart, big mistake, its a mess there, 1.5 miles away and ubered back but saved on eating out, went to safeway and realized way more meat options! You gotta try hawaiian fish, we tried blue marlin and some others, yum! You gotta book this condo, next time we hope we will book the same one! Snorkle gear there as well, no flippers. Beach towels, beach chairs and much more for use!!! We loved our stay!! The condo + waikiki beach was a fantasy come true! Thank you!!!!

What a great place to stay on Oahu! The Beach Villas are a lovely, peaceful, world away from the craziness of Honolulu and Waikiki. We absolutely loved the location. This condo is wonderful - clean, comfortable and well stocked with dishes, cookware and everything we needed. We loved opening the huge sliders to the lanai and having our coffee each morning with an ocean view. The saltwater lap pool was warm and inviting. There were always plenty of loungers and the pool itself was rarely busy. The resort has beautiful grounds and a great beachside bar with live music each night. It is definitely a serene getaway compared to the nearby Marriott and Aulani. The property manager, Maria, was wonderful to work with and made our trip seamless. The owner was super responsive to all of our requests and kindly even provided a brand new set of cookware! We cooked most of our meals in and loved that the condo has a full kitchen. There is a nice view of the ocean from the lanai. We enjoyed the walking path that winds along the ocean. We wouldn't hesitate to rent again. This place is a little slice of heaven! We wanted a place where we could see the beach from our balcony and be able to walk from our unit onto the beach. We didn’t need a lot of space, and The Waikiki Shores provided all we needed. We didn’t get to spend as much time taking advantage of the beach access and view as we would have liked due to our short stay and other excursions around the island. But we loved it and were able to rent a car from First Rental Cars, which is located only a few blocks away and provides free overnight parking. (You can rent cars at the airport for less, but you then have to pay high fees for parking garages nearby. So the location of Waikiki Shores and First Rental Cars was a perfect combination.) We were welcomed at the condo by Kai and Martin, and Martin gave us a detailed tour of the condo. The condo looks exactly like the photos in the listing. The balcony has mirrors on both sides which allow you to see views from all directions (but are a bit discombobulating when you keep seeing yourself in the reflection and think there is someone behind you! LOL). The unit doesn’t provide coffee, and there was only hand soap in the shower but under the bathroom sink were a variety of body washes, sun screen, and hair products left by previous tenants. So if you don’t bring your own, you are probably okay. The unit doesn’t provide any beach amenities such as lounging chairs, umbrellas, or body boards, but it does offer a small cooler with freezer packs. I would definitely stay there again.
