  • Perfect house

"The best part of our trip to Maine was this house. It's host all by itself! Gorgeous waterfront property and a prime location for kayaking (bring your own kayaks) The house was clean and set up perfect for 2 families to stay there and have privacy. The kitchen was the most well-equipped out of any rental house we have ever stayed in (Yes! They have pie plates!!). The fireplace was a great added touch, even in June as nights do get chilly. The deck is the perfect place for relaxing with coffee or wine. We saw seals, dolphins, and bald eagles all from the beach here. Just for a reference, it''s about 20-30 min away from Acadia/Bar Harbor and 5 minutes away from a lobster pound. If traveling up here again, I would recommend this property to anyone."

  • Very nice and comfortable

"Completely supplied in all aspects. Cookware, spices, appliances, comfortable furniture, TVs, Kayaks, outside chairs, new grill, propane, awning for shade, games, etc... Bedrooms are small but didn't spend much time there. Too much to do. Great walks around the lake, kayaking to big jumping rock, floating on tubes. Very relaxing and easy to move right in. Extra beds for kids and family visiting. Recommend this place for anyone wanting a lot available and want move in ready feeling."

  • Great place... The six of us were very happy with the location.

"The bay in front is pretty. There's lots of room in the cabin and the hot tub up stairs helps out after hiking Cadillac mountain. Bar Harbor is about half an hour away and a neat ride. Five out of five in my book."

  • Lovely home with beautiful views, quiet and secluded. Great get-away.

"Comfortably furnished. Very nice master bedroom and bath. 4 bedrooms were all nice and had comfortable beds, but only 3 bathrooms, so 2nd upstairs bedroom occupants had to go downstairs for a bathroom. Kitchen was especially well appointed. A lot of thought by owners went into providing kitchen items, extra towels, beach towels, etc. We enjoyed the deck during the day and evening, plus beachcoming at low tide. Water comes right up to the back yard at high tide. Wished we could have had a working indoor fireplace for chilly nights. Only one small inconvenience - only one TV (in master bedroom) has cable. Other televisions all seem to require your own account/streaming - not that anyone needs TV in such a beautiful setting. However, our group did want to watch the live news (debate) though - so all had to pile into the master bedroom. This is a great location for visiting Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor and on one rainy day we headed to the Farnsworth Museum (about 65 miles away in Rockland) - where it was not raining."
