  • Dream property! Amazing views, comfy digs, PERFECTION!

"My grandson and I spent a week, including July 4 holiday, at the cottage, and couldn't BELIEVE our good fortune. A private beach, ah-mazing 180degree views of water (right ON the water) and Acadia Nat'l Forest, and Cadillac Mountain. We combed the beach, played games, watched the fireworks over the water on July 4th, swam in nearby fresh water pond, had picnics, and could get to Ellsworth for shopping, and Bar Harbor for entertainment, in 15 and 40 minutes respectively. Private yet accessible, beautiful yet comfortable. And welcomed with yummiest homemade muffins! We....willl....be....back!!"

  • Scenic wonderland

"We have visited, Maine for the past five years during the holidays to see our grand kids and this I by far the best place we have stayed at. Extremely close to downtown Bangor, Mall, Theater and restaurants. Although winter time is not for everybody, we thoroughly enjoy it. There are plenty of activities for all ages."

  • Clean, comfy, quiet, and even a tomato slicer!

"We had a wonderful week in early July at Cindy's rental. The cottage is secluded, yet close to Acadia, Deer Isle, and other areas for exploring. Cindy was very helpful in orienting us to the cabin, and on the several cool nights, the extra blankets came in handy. We enjoyed dinners on the deck while watching the sunset, and the kitchen was very well supplied (Foley fork for mixing dough - yes! Special tomato slicer - yes!). The swimming was excellent - clean water and a nice dock with storage, and the lake had plenty to explore by kayak. We observed eagles, herons, turtles, loons (with a young one), and a huge porcupine sitting on a rock by the lake. We highly recommend the nearby "Breadbox" bakery, particularly the peach pie and breads. This is a lovely rental with an owner who really cares for it, and we hope to return again."

  • Beautiful, serene, welcoming and peaceful

"This home is absolutely beautiful, with all the comforts and extra details that make you feel at home. The privacy and quiet area gives you a wonderful sense of peace and soothes the soul. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the coastline, waters, woods and surrounding areas. But mostly a special thank you to the wonderful, caring owners who allowed us to share their lovely home. Looking forward to returning next year :)"
