  • Stunning DC property - stylish, great amenities, excellent location

"This beautifully renovated terrace house is the perfect DC base. Located a short walk away from the new DCStreetcar that takes you directly to Union Station. Also with plenty of restaurants, cafes and a brand new Whole Foods store within easy walking distance you won't go hungry. We parked our car right outside (with the provided parking pass) and left it there for the three days we stayed. An Uber ride back from Georgetown cost us less than $10. The home itself has been thoughtfully renovated and every amenity is provided. The property is charming, functional and provides a fantastic home base. We cooked at home and ate in the courtyard - it really was ideal for our family of four. An important factor for us is fast WiFi and this was excellent. 10 out of 10 for location, property set-up and communication with the property manager. Just wished we lived closer and could stay more often."

  • Apartment ok in "transients" hotel

"The apartment was basically fine although the place was unlocked upon arrival with the door ajar. The front door combination was buried in the contract so it was not easy getting into the building. Everything worked ok inside the unit, but we didn't cook there. It was clean, bathroom and shower worked well. And the location was good for us since I was attending a conference at the Washington Hilton only one block away. DuPont Circle is also nearby. Lots of nearby restaurants. The downsides are that it feels like a transients hotel. We met at the front door some renters from Airbnb who were also having problems with their door lock combinations. Not sure how many owners actually live in this building. Felt like many apartments were short term rentals. Additionally, the corridors and stairways were filthy. Improved some after I complained to management. Ceiling was not well insulated from noise from above so we heard the upstairs tenant walking fairly loudly."

  • Good location, well decorated and perfect for our family!

"The Petworth location was perfect for our family visit to DC! We were 2 blocks from our nieces homes and it was easy walking to Metro, Lincoln's Cottage (well worth the visit!) and a few restaurants and stores. The apartment was sparsely furnished and could have used another TV upstairs and a comfy chair upstairs as well, but bathrooms were fantastic, plenty of thick towels and soaps! There was noise from the apartment above us, but we all were home at the same time after being out sightseeing all day and they had teenagers - we had babies! Overall - great experience and the location and accommodations were perfect for our family!"
